Very quiet window by PL standards bar a couple of teams but seems most of the top teams have completed their business bar one or two arrivals/departures.

Liverpool have strengthened massively, City have added more firepower, Man United have made little tweaks/adjustments, Arsenal have reasonably strengthened but they retain the core of their team, Chelsea have been so-so in the market mostly window shopping and finally Spurs dont look like adding any key player this season but have the same team. Really dont see any surprise team making a push for the top 4 realistically.

You would imagine the race would be much closer this year compared to the last  so both in terms of title race and CL spots race.

Really hard to guess the Top 4 at this point but i'll go with City retaining the title atleast.

i think this will be the season when manure and mourinho have a fall out. if he has a bad start then i could see things blowing up and him leaving.

Liverpool will be a big letdown, relative to people's expectations. They might take fourth though, I think it's between Arsenal and Pool and either could probably get it.

so liverpool have made major upgrades on every weak spot in the team and you think that will make them go backwards.

but you picked spurs and arsenal for top 4 when spurs have not signed anyone and are a harry kane injury away from a melt down and arsenal have not signed the quality that liverpool have and have a new manager that could need a bit of time to get the team consistent enough the got top 4 in the hardest lge in the world.

It's an intriguing situation going into the season. The two clubs that missed out on top-4 last season, Chelsea and Arsenal, have neither really strengthened that much. Chelsea have bought Jorginho, Arsenal Torreira, Leno and Papa. Plus some other dross that are unlikely to play a big part. I know Chelsea are still supposedly linked with Higuain at least, but it really underlines their lack of ambizione compared to some years back, that they only buy one midfielder after a season when they missed out on top-4.

Unless City's players have become too happy after last season's title, they're still massive favourites.
Tottenham have had a quiet window, but I don't think they needed much anyway.
For Liverpool, a top-4 finish must be a minimum target after spending big while our competitors chill.

Then there's Man United, which feels like impossible to predict. Jose has lost it, that much is clear. But if the likes of Sanchez, Pogba and Fellaini play at their top level, United could still have a good season.
