Sadly Mahrez will fit in like a glove in this City team.

more chance of Abate finally having a breakout season than Dalot starting for us at RB

Mendy is too shit defensively to be the best LB in the PL, Robertson is more complete

None of City's midfield has been particularly good today, Laporte has probably created more chances than they have
Mahrez and Sterling have been their best players.

Mendy gonna have an unreal heat map if this continues
First time I see him play inside ffs move him to the touchline
Gundogan's been a passenger, need hardworking English lad Foden on

I feel like if Leno was in goal instead of Cech we would be equal, Emery first mistake was trusting in „experience“.
What a game though!

Arsenal down 1-0 only but they don't look great
That being said, they look better than when Wenger was with them. Then again, City don't have De Bruyne, Silva, or Sane playing this team is disgusting

I like our pressing, or at least the idea of it. Just still a bit too young, and it's against a Pep team of course, meaning there's no other team better equipped at getting passed it
Just need to stay level headed, get the ball more into the midfield and see if we can get something out of the game

Cech has been terrible lmao, Leno can't be worse IMO.

Cech couldn't have saved that, too many bodies and Sterling walked pass guendoozi

When Sane plays he will be the one hugging the touchline so no place for Mendy there

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion
Cech was unsighted. He should have done better but defenders are more to blame than him
Good double save on the free kick and follow up plus a good save on Sterling
He hasn't been amazing, but Cech is not Arsenal's problem today.

He should have tbh, it was very central. Feel like a younger keeper with better reactions and reflexes does save it.

I saw the goal from his angle and I‘m not sure. A younger keeper with quicker reflexes could‘ve saved it as it was a bit too central.

Irony is the goal basically happened because Mendy bombed on the outside which allowed Sterling to cut inside without much covering him.
Needs to happen more IMO.

Stones, Walker and Dinho always have a mistake in them, so the game will be open.

Makes no sense to blame that goal on Cech. On some days, some keepers might save it or not..
Fact is Sterling can shoot without being pressured from 18 yards centrally and defenders are blocking the GK's view without putting pressure on the shooter

Well, only way cech was saving that if we had jumped without seeing the ball, not many keepers are Brad Jones.

Gundogan, I have no idea what he brings to the team. Seriously no Idea. He is pretty much Wijnaldum v1.25

It's a big away game. Pep goes conservative and uses more central than attacking midfielders.
The chickenshit is afraid of being overrun although he's obviously never ever overrun anyway

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion
Man Arsenal look bad, misplaced passes all over the place. They have had almost all their players all preseason, I would have thought hey would have gelled a bit more. Granted it is City, but City don't look as good without the likes of KDB, Sane, etc. Would have been the perfect time to capitalize and place your stamp on the first season without Wenger.
Laca has made them look a lot better since coming on so maybe I'll eat my words.
