Not enough refs.
You expecting to have enough refs to do 10 games a weekend with refs, assistant's and refs to do VAR? not feasible.

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion
didn't they 'test' VAR last season already in cups?
So what happened?
they decided against its use or what?

Re: 2018/2019 Premier League Discussion
ultimate melt Redknapp complaining about a high line giving away a 'cheap goal' when the goal is 2 yards offside
without competent linesmen you can obviously never play a high line

Price is no issue. With modern technology you could outsource the video refs to India ffs

outsourcing VAR to India and seeing the Ref getting the feedback and having a meltdown on the touchline demanding to speak to an English operator would be pretty priceless tbh

I didn't even know West Ham had signed Yarmo until today. How much did he go for?

Really little. BVB sold him even for less than they bought him, something like 20-25m €

Wijnaldum looked like he is not used to going for goal at all. Should have been 4-0

Which is weird because for us it was his best attribute, arriving late to score was what he was good at

Yea he was excellent but it's a huge task for someone like him. Also Torreira hasn't trained much.
Surprised Sane is benched.

Wijnaldum's role for Klopp is to provide some sort of control.
That's why Cas's complaint about vertical passes is so off the mark.
Klopp's Liverpool never lack verticality anyway, if anything they lack control. Wijnaldum has had the ability to provide some sort of control in tough matches last season, because he's able to deal with the ball under pressure himself IMO
