Nah i think Sarri will do well, specifically because the expectations will be lower.

Chelsea fans will want good football and they'll do better than last year.

Both things are pretty easy to achieve IMO.

Sarri will do good IMO, though he will need some time to implement his style into this team. Since 2004 Chelsea almost always had only defensive minded coaches so this will be a new thing for them. No one expects anything special anyway considering the quality of players Chelsea has now.

thinking that Chelsea will survive in EPL with Jorginho in front of the defense rofl

not even Kante will be enough to save them. Foden is getting a free run at the back 4 everytime he gets on the ball, this is quite bad.

If you watch the replay of the goal, it's quite telling how badly Jorginho/Barkley (lazy) and Fabregas (no where to be seen) backtracked

being hospitalized for the season and waking up to see Mourinho sacked may actually be preferable to being awake through the season tbf

The tempo of this game has been very pre-season, absolute walking pace. With that said Bernado Silva has been great.

If you look at Liverpool's pre season, it usually works the opposite, a good preseason and a good league finish happens together. Obviously it's a coincidence but I'm happy we rather win 5-0 in pre season against Napoli rather than losing 5-0 to them.

I do not like how Mahrez plays btw, slows the game far too much for someone whose supposed to be a difference maker in the final third.

Silva I think was instrumental in getting city back from 4-1 to 4-3 as well in our game last season. He's a good player, just needs to start regularly at his position, difficult considering Silva gets the freedom and deservedly so.

to me the signing didn't make all that much sense to begin with, honestly

another case of them signing someone so we didnt IMO
