I felt that Messi + Iniesta + Coutinho is probably overkill. Not that any of them necessarily put a foot wrong, but all 3 seem to be possession players.

Add to that the fact that Busquets wasn't playing so the circulation wasn't as fast. Rakitic is good, but not a direct replacement in the Busi role.

Credit to Alaves, they pushed us hard.

^I think this would work better than whatever Valverde tried to achieve there. Gotta try out Coutinho in the role Neymar played
