Honestly,in hindsight, we should have gone after a big money striker FIRST, then built the team around that

they chose to go with Kessie whos gamble has backfired, Conti who got injured for 6 months, Hakan that came at half price due to his 4 month absence, Bonucci after his fight with Allegri and Co (who looks like the Bonucci that was ridiculed at Juve and not the one we bought) Musacchio who has had very nuanced perforances but looks capable on the ball, and Biglia who can be the player we need but has not been thus far

Rodriguez, Borini, Silva and Kalinic were good buys imho, but if they had gone after a Belotti of Aubu first it might have been different

Another thing: when has a team that has spent this kind of money achieved the kind of inflated results expected after a crazy mercato

the best example for me is Real the summer of their Galacticos with Ronaldo, Kaka, Alonso and others. That team didnt immediately perform and the same thing was said.

even to a large extend Man u took a lot of ridicule before they pathed that over with the Europa league. Liverpool and Tottenham come to mind as well right after Bale and Suarez sales

its going to take more than a new team but an attitude that gets results

the way we have played in our last 2-3 games has been sub-par albeit improved in terms of controlling the play and building up attacks, had Kalinic been a little closer on any of those 3 golden chances he had, we might be saying something different

all in all, if we can go from no excuses to fighting for 6th again, then in the same time, a bit of positive results and momentum could swing things back the other way

i dont expect this to happen but its barely even november and this team still needs to find a balance

Let's all calm down, and let's not forget that the guy whom everyone called Milan's best new acquisition, the right back (I think) whose name I forgot, has picked up a long term injury.

The main thing is they threw around these elite striker names all summer and end up with Borini in the team. That's bad.
As for the rest, nothing a good coach could not work with.

Montella has not shown himself to be able to make the step up. He looked promising, but turned out flat.

I can't help but feel the Bonucci transfer screwed up some plans The budget was 200 million and we lost 40 from that. It was so sudden and the deal seemed too good to not take, everyone was calling it the coup of the summer.

Maybe we could have gotten Belotti for 70 million+Niang+Lapadaula instead of Bonucci and Kalinic for a combined 60 and separate sales of players.

You mean Bonucci?

No way you should have turned down the possibilty to sign Bonucci. Pep wanted to pay 70m for the guy. You, a current second tier club, got him for cheap out of the blue.

It was a great transfer coup no matter how Bonucci performed so far. We all know given the right setup and circumstance, he's an absolute top player.

Haven't you also bought some Portuguese striker who supposed to be good? Why isn't he playing?

Andre Silva is a weird case. Montella keeps starting him in midweek games and benches him in the weekend games. He has been in great for in EL and internationals, he is one of the few signings I am optimistic about.

Rodriguez was a good signing. Calhanoglu is a good player too. The right back was a good signing. What was his name? I'm going to say Conte but this isn't it of course.
Bonucci great signing.

Who else? How bad can it be?

Was disappointed as hell when we signed Hakan. He was management's 3rd choice behind Keita and Forsberg.

it's absolute farce at this point, 400M spent to get back to past glory in a league that isn't exactly stacked

absolutely the biggest project flop of all time, how do you spend 400M in a transfer window and end up with Kalinic and Borini starting for you, with Gattuso as your manager and like 10th in the table after results today

one word: EMBARRASSING

I never never NEVER wanna read ES give any club, not even Tottenham any talk after today. 200 million to lose to Verona, absolutely embarrassing. He owes Firenze and the entire Jjuve base an apology for all that wasted banter.
