Re: Champions League Group Stage - Group H
All these talented Madrid kids coming through... but the team is nothing without Ronaldo lol.
They won't win another CL nor La liga until they find some kind of replacement for his abilities.
Ronaldo IS Real Madrid.

Where are all of the haters? Would like to meet them face to face.
Tottenham just shat all over Dortmund. Should have scored a couple more

I don't know, flights are pretty expensive from here to US. Not sure if it is financially sensible.

Yeah but that doesn't fit my "me/Spurs against the world" narrative
Anyway, a lot of the group to play but this is a huge result for Spurs

Why?
Because 3-1 lol
Im not even surprised, They have nothing on Spurs right now. It should be a bit more close when Dortmund get a few injured lads back and I fully expect Spurs to get a result in Germany as well.
Dortmund is very overrated, We thought the same in the EL semi final but they are always there for the taking. They were great, But its over now probably as bad as Liverpool.

I'm not this confident lmao. For stretches of the game they were certainly a better side than Spurs, I just think that Spurs had the better tactics and better defense. Dortmund just got a bit unlucky on some chances and really the game could have gone either way. In the end, Spurs were more clinical (minus the usual post 70th minute lack of finishing from Tottenham to kill the game, just like Burnley) and that was the bigger difference. I wouldn't be shocked at all if Dortmund win the return leg, the teams are still pretty even I think. As ES said, Dortmund are missing a lot of players atm
Anyway Aurier is class and Sanchez was a bit nervy but had some good play. He's a keeper for the future for sure, although I expect him to make some mistakes this season. Really have to credit Tottenham and Poch, they've bought and continued to buy very well in defense. Replace your RB with someone just as good while making 30m pounds? Spend most of that on a promising defender who looks like he's a keeper for the future after just two games?
Still need a top class CM if they want to win anything or continue to improve though. Dembele was very average today. He's getting older and apparently plays through pain every game, hate to say it but it might be time to phase him out and bring someone else in

I'm somewhat confident today... with the idea that Ronaldo isn't going to miss 10+ chances a game forever. Usually, he has a massive game and then goes on a tear. I think this game will be it.

Re: Champions League Group Stage - Group H
I wouldn't worry about us scoring. If there is a team in Europe that are guaranteesd to offer us many goals it's Dortmund. Their defence is shambolic.
It's games like these that attracts non football lovers. Prepare yourself for a Football fiesta folks because goals will be raining in.....

Dortmund defense has been extremely good this season. Different coach and completely different philosophy Hala.
They've conceded 1 goal total in 6 Bundi games.... which is an achievement considering how Bundi teams play.

Probably based on the Tottenham game. They conceded three and could have conceded 5 or 6. Their defense was absolutely shocking.
If they don't step it up a level Madrid will have no problems scoring. I'm not sure if their defense just had a bad game or what was going on, I don't watch them in Bundi, but they were awful in their previous CL game.
