Ronaldo wants to go - Page 5 Empty Re: Ronaldo wants to go

Post by Mr Nick09 Sun Jun 18, 2017 7:31 pm

you can't blame Barca though, it's 29 year old Messi telling them to pay or he leaves... It's Messi, you figure out a way to pay.

I love Ronaldo, but there are talent wise, maybe 5 players in football history with Messi's talent level. you have to find a way to make it work.

Ronaldo has achieved enough to put himself in the list of all time greats, but he is 32, Father time is still undefeated.

I dare say that we will survive, the foundations of our current team run deep.

No he is not, in 13/14 and 15/16 he ended the season dead, had long injury spells and was irrelevant in CL finals. He was actually not in great shape late in the season.

It's only in the past season that everything came together for him. Pintus is an amazing physical trainer and Zidane managed his minutes well so he could finish the season strong.

Revisionist historian now make it sound like he is a tireless robot that performs al year round and doesnt get injured. So no, he is not always in "peak condition". You have to get him there because he is an old man in football terms.

So yes, he can still absolutely perform but you have to manage him well. In the game today vs mexico he was open on goal and could not even separate from the CB, he had to turn a pass (great pass btw).

CR is a bit like LeBron, he's not going to be at his former level going forward (already has regressed) but he's still among the elite players and will be I think for another 2-3 years probably.

CR can't be compared to anyone but Kobe tbh, the sheer volume comparison demands this.

Ronaldo isn't going anywhere. Madrid needs Ronaldo just as much as we need him. Florentino isn't a drunkard. He isn't selling the greatest player in Madrid and football's history.

Great post as always mate

Fully agreed.

Don't encourage illiteracy, RG.

I haven't been silent. I want him out. Sell high.

Would rather watch Asensio play tbh.

If Perez wasn't a president he wouldn't look out of place as politician. He knows the right words to use when being interviewed, he doesnt threaten, he doesn't point fingers or make a fool of himself, he chooses his words carefully, but still gives out a powerful message

I plan to talk to him one day. I have not talked to him yet. We do not want to disturb his concentration on the national team. I do not know anymore, what some have written or others have said. I think this [tax issue] is the worst thing that has been set upon Cristiano, and I agree with him. Some media have presented an image of him, more or less as a delinquent, and doing that to a person of his professional prestige and honesty, is by all accounts not easy to understand. The presumption of innocence has not been taken into account."

This is basically what Ronaldo should've said instead of acting like a baby. Now it's up to Uncle Flo to clear it all up, restore some order and to put Ronaldo's toys back into his pram

Everything in life can be talked about and solved by dialogue. I've always had a very good opinion of Cristiano and we'll see where this ends up, so that no one misunderstands the club and the player, I want to clarify that we fulfill our fiscal obligations and we have a lot of confidence that Ronaldo has had every intention to fulfill his fiscal obligations."

"I do not know the problem with a tax return like his, but we talked to his law firm and we can say that when he played in the Premier League, he had a corporate structure for the exploitation of his image rights, which is the same as he has had here. The player, for sure, has never hidden his income by exploiting image rights and has declared his income. There has been no concealment. I do not know if there are discrepancies, but if there are, the issue will end in a court or in the Supreme Court, but from there to now the image of delinquent is not normal. Some media have not lived up to the circumstances."

Is there any impediment for a Mino Raiola player to come to Real Madrid, such as Donnarumma?

"No, no. Apart from Pogba, when we had no chance of talking to Raiola about any player. Last year it was impossible and this year we will see what happens. When Zidane comes back, we will know what he thinks of this Donnarumma idea."

Must admit, whoever writes Perez's speeches or maybe it is Perez himself, knows the value of saying the right thing at the right time. He didn't embarass the club with no dumb-fool hash tag twitter support nor did he actually throw Ronaldo under the bus.

In actuality, he really did not say much which is the best thing for the club. Because Perez represents the club, not just Ronaldo. As for Don, Navas and Casilla would be in his way for a start so...good luck to the young man if he is to come.
