Heard the Undertaker retired. Watched highlights of Mania. Glad I gave up the product. Was watching highlights when I came across a Jericho segment on post Mania Raw.
The Tomodachi's of Jericho and the Mates of Jericho
To think a scrub like Reigns has main evented Mania thrice in a row while a GOAT like Jericho has only main evented once

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 33 - WM 33 Edition
Rollins is getting stale and partly thats not his fault, they murdered his character from August-January after HHH appeared. He had a better run as the Authority's pawn. I'm just not sure whats next for his character, he's in a chrysalis phase. Teaming him up with Balor to do battle agains KO and SJ isn't the answer as well. We've already seen a variation of that ad nausem with Reigns and JeriKO. He needs to develop a quirk for his character because at the moment he's gotten bland. Its sad that his popularity is at its highest...when he'sinjured.

good pop for a Japanese lad @MT, hope they continue to cheer him week to week, gonna start watching Smackdown more now, shame if AJ is going to Raw but it makes sense.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 33 - WM 33 Edition
AJ leaving Smackdown would be awful but i suppose it depends on who comes in his place. ( especially considering Cena is gone too)
and how they replenish the rest of the roster, Nakamura and Dillinger is a good start even if the tag teams are still shite.
Also i'm going to say this now, but Face Randy Orton bores the *bleep* outta me. He was fantastic in the Wyatt Family but ever since the turn meh.
Be interesting to see how the whole trade stuff is going to work next week and who goes where.

Is Orton the largest big match flop ever? I always get hyped for Orton fantasy booking but in the end he doesn't deliver

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 33 - WM 33 Edition
Best way to describe Orton is he's remarkably safe and smooth so he has LOADS of 4 star level matches but rarely if ever a 5 star match unless he's with someone to bump for him.
I enjoy watching him tbh but i don't think him and Bray are the greatest fit in ring chemistry wise.
Rollins and Orton at WM31 was great for example IMO and his matches with Christian were as well.

Orton delivers some great moments but never consistently. He is often bland. But he has his fair share of good matches. Just been there for so long now that you just accept him for what he is lol.

It doesn't help nowadays that he literally is frightened of blowing his shoulders out for the one millionth time lol.
Still remember the Brock Lesnar match where everyone else lands high on their shoulders on the Germans and he was landing on his lower back
I don't blame him but it was still hilarious.

He has been infamous for that for long time lol. Even before injuries it was like something is holding him back. Never shifts on to that last gear for some reasons.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 33 - WM 33 Edition
Rollins explained it quite well talking about The Stomp into RKO mid air spot on Jericho's podcast.
Randy doesn't really like to take major risks and Rollins had to basically convince him to do the spot.
Which probably explains why he was so damn happy when he pulled it off lol.
Still though despite all that, i still greatly enjoy watching him and i consider him a legend.

Maybe we also need to focus on Bray? When was the last time he had a good on one match. Orton stole the show with Styles and Harper like last month, the last Bray match that was entertaining was with Reigns last year.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 33 - WM 33 Edition
Bray hasn't been put in the position to have a great 1 v 1 match in fairness.
Tag Teams with Orton, Elimination Chamber, then triple threat and then Orton build.
I don't remember the last hyped up 1 v 1 match he had, Ziggler no 1 contenders before Summerslam maybe?
I agree with you though, Bray doesn't genuinely have amazing matches.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 33 - WM 33 Edition
In an interview with Title Match Wrestling at WrestleCon this past weekend, Aron Rex, f.k.a. Damien Sandow, revealed that he is no longer with Impact Wrestling. Rex, who debuted a new Liberace-esque gimmick in Impact Wrestling last October and was a part of their television tapings this past January, hinted at possibly retiring.
"I don't know if this is going to be it for me, because you know I'm no longer with Impact," Rex said. "Ending on this note is not a bad thing. I'm not saying that I'm never going to get in the ring again, but this is pretty cool and I'd much rather have people remember me for all the good stuff."
Stay safe MT
