Thoughts.

She's an awful racist person and they should make her leave. But she's not a leader of the movement, she's a leader of the Toronto chapter.

For one woman who says white are genetic defects, there are thousands who believe that blacks are monkeys. This "reverse racism" bull shit getting out of hands now.

Myesyats this was said by a woman halfway across the world from you, but you didnt hear when a European minister in a large state right next to yours called Chinese people slant eyes and dogs?

Or maybe the internet allows us to see news we WANT to see?

Black lives matter is a nothing group, which cant even effectively argue to the state to hold police accountable for murdering citizens. European ministers have unseen power in establishing trade,borders, and public discourse. Why do you think you heard what this little lady in Canada said, but not what a minister said about over a billion people on earth?

Well, I'm yet to see a person who knows everything. I don't think human brain is able to seize all of the information in the world.

I just want to you to see that minorities can also be racist but somehow they don't get called out for it and it happens to not be a big deal.

It matters because the headline is wrong. This is a general problem I have with most journalism. This article makes it out to seem like the absolute leader of BLM is racist, therefor the entire article seems like another kind of race propaganda, because it doesn't adress that she isn't a leader of the movement, but has helped start another chapter.

Also posting a link to a site that's an obvious reaction to the movement it's reporting on, doesn't make it any more credible.

I have seen it on other websites where it has been reported correctly. Why not post those links?

If we look at history, The oldest ancestors that can be linked to mankind were found in the African continent. Not sure what relates to what, But I have found this fact (I think its confirmed) fascinating.

My thoughts are that she doesn't speak for the entire BLM movement so why do you insist on pretending like like she does in order to provoke a reaction? That's straight up bullshit.

If want to have a meaningful discussion about the BLM movement, this is an abject lesson in how NOT to start one.

But of course, that's not what you really want, is it?

Why not adress the issue instead of trying to avoid it? We're not talking about flaws of journalism but the absurd when it comes to the concept of racism.

Black people are as capable as white people. And they are as likely as white people to evince racist behaviour.

I think this BLM movement is ridiculous because it implies that black people are less capable and need additional help? That's racist as well.

But I didn't want to talk about the movement itself. The point is that racist behaviour (or any other prejudices among various ethnic/religious etc. groups) goes both ways and forcing multiculturalism down people's throats is awful and pathetic.

Agreed. It's sensationalist to the enth degree. It's bad, but there are places elsewhere in the world where it's even worst. That's a big reason why I can't really get behind this movement. Too short-sighted. Their worldview is way too narrow.
