Still pissed about the Legia game but I doubt anything will change until Casemiro is back or Ronaldo gets an injury along with Benzema. I expect nothing less than a comfortable win and a clean sheet

This weekend is real opportunity to put some distance between Atleti and hopefully Barca. Hope they don't blow it.

I actually would like to see Navas, Nacho and Varane redeem themselves. Also would be nice to see Coentrao to get another chance.

With this midfield (Isco, Kroos and Kova), it should give Ronaldo, Morata, Bale lots of opportunities.

No surprises in the line up. Let's hope we get a convincing win with a clean sheet

I dont understand Isco's positioning in this game, we look more like a 4213, with Isco not involved in the build up. It's not working, whether it's on manager instruction or the player not listening to instructions, that needs to be adjusted. although with 2 goals up at home vs this shitty team, not sure it matters now

I haven't liked our build up this game. The ball is going between Varane-Nacho-Kroos every single second but there is no movement up front. Ronaldo as usual playing as a striker selfishly taking shots, Morata is i don't know wherever he is and Bale is playing more like a CAM than a winger. Just like in the Legia game we have no wingers and it is making it harder for us to build attacks. Credit where it's due, Leganes are man marking our players to perfection. As soon as the ball leaves our half we have nobody to pass to. As usual only Bale from the front 3 is playing well

Well, that was a decent win. One can point out a sea of flaws in that performance but a "comfortable" win plus a clean sheet is always gonna be the only positive that matters.

And we put some pressure on Sevilla and Barcelona to achieve full points (not like it wasn't there already). Hoping for a high scoring draw in that match.

Much better second half. Much of that owed to us pressing them when losing the ball instead of retreating into our own half.

The difference between Bale and Ronaldo is huuuge. When Morata scored Bale couldn't be happier for him while Ronaldo was somewhere else sulking about not getting a goal. Bale is growing in this team and it's making him a better player.

Modric is back. Now only Pepe, Ramos and Casemiro left. Former two likely ready for the Atleti game whereas the latter has a few more weeks left.

Kroos got his fourth yellow which means one more yellow and he served a suspension. He has to be smart, we have a home game after the Atleti game against lowly Sporting Gijon. Casemiro will probably be back by then. Hope he gets that yellow against Atleti

Varane gets dribbled so easily lol. 1v1 he is always suspect unless the player only has speed but no dribbling ability. Also Morata falling down at the slightest nudge is starting to piss me the hell off. Stop being a sissy.

That said Nacho is damn amazing. His composure is excellent and is always at the right place at the right time. He is so good

btw that was a brilliant pass from isco. reminds me of the first assist he had here with us during a pre-season freindly. he needs to play in that fashion, and a good run by bale. brilliant finish by morata as well, i thought he'd just rush and miss the shot....overall an alright game, i was concerned by the defense. similar to the last ucl game, they at times were out of position and advanced way too high, luckily we didn't get caught out, but a better side might have made us pay.....3 points in, good win, we march on

by the time the ban gets lifted, his stock would have dropped, no 100 mill unless some new billionare gets desperate. and honestly, the club doesn't look like they're fighting the ban at all (i do NOT have inside info), but that's the way it seemed from the start. so, at this point, nope, with a ban looming the last thing we need is a thin squad.....which we kinda have already, taking into account injury proneness and no signings
