Sunderland Vs Arsenal
Sunderland Vs Arsenal
Saturday 29th October 2016
12:30BST
Stadium of shite
Sunderland are perhaps THE worst team in the league while we are probably one of the best. Which pretty much means we are going to drop points here. We are notorious for gifting points against struggling teams. Won't be surprised if Sunderland beat us and go on to have a winning streak. Not to mention our record is pretty bad over there.
But if we avoid the mental issues and play like we have been recently (the good parts) then this could be a routine win. Sanchez and Ozil are in decent goal scoring form. Cazorla may be back. Theo is doubtful so i won't be surprised if Giroud starts. Best news is that Ramsey is back.
Team? perhaps
------------------------Cech----------------------------
Bellerin--------Mustafi--------Koscielny--------Gibbs
------------Cazorla----------Coquelin-----------------
Oxlade---------------Ozil---------------------Iwobi
--------------------Sanchez--------------------------
Interestingly, Iwobi was in the reserve training kit rather than the starting 11 kit. Might not be much in there but maybe Arsene might rest him and start Giroud upfront with Sanchez on the right.

Re: Sunderland Vs Arsenal
I was thinking about this game earlier, and how Sunderland are due some good fortune. It wouldn't shock me in the least if that happened against us. We've been riding our luck in recent games.
Still, it's a team we should be beating comfortably. We play first on a day that City, Spurs and Liverpool all play so it'd be nice to get a win and be top of the table while they all play. Even better if it's a convincing win.

All of the top 5 playing on the same day
Yea we really need to win and sit back. Would be terrible if everyone else wins as well though

Re: Sunderland Vs Arsenal
Will be a tough game, we miss Walcott which is bad enough but also makes Alexis useless up front, we miss Cazorla which is also a big loss but makes Coquelin useless too. At least Gibbs should start which is a plus.

Re: Sunderland Vs Arsenal
Apparently neither Monreal or Walcott trained yesterday but Cazorla could be back in the team.

Re: Sunderland Vs Arsenal
Cech; Bellerin, Mustafi, Koscielny, Gibbs; Elneny, Coquelin; Chamberlain, Ozil, Iwobi; Alexis
Ospina, Gabriel, Holding, Jenkinson, Maitland-Niles, Ramsey, Giroud
The bench looks a bit weak. It's a bit odd that we'd take the extra centre back (Holding) instead of another attacker like Jeff or Akpom.

Re: Sunderland Vs Arsenal
So Cazorla didn't make it afterall.
Expecting Ramsey to come on early if we are going nowhere with that pivot.

Need to be more clinical in front of goals, should be at least 2 up.

This has a draw written all over it at the moment, we should have killed the game off when we had the chance
