Hoping for Hull at home. And then City/United to draw Liverpool.

Re: League Cup Quarter Finals
We just had Spurs.
Arsenal have had super easy draw so far. You are definitely getting one of Chelsea or City/United. No doubt about it.
I hope we don't get Newcastle so both teams can go to the semis but it seems like Rafa back at Anfield will be the most likely rig in the draw
Newcastle get Leeds, We get Hull, Soton get whichever one of Chelsea/United/City that Arsenal don't get. I'll be happy with this.

Re: League Cup Quarter Finals
I prefer to be out of this competition as soon as possible. (The fixture congestion is killing us literally). And lol luckily we have man city next who will fulfill my wish.
Hope Pep will put a decent team on the pitch at least because I cant imagine the embarrassment of our 1st team losing out to their u21s.

What fixture congestion? There have already been two international breaks, just a couple of weeks with two games. Or is it too grueling to play a B team at home against Luhansk?
Man United fans are pathetic.

I simply don't care about this cup any longer. Wish they would get rid of it.

EL on Thursdays. Bailly is 2 months out. We have 2 first team CBs, of which one is not even a CB. Jones is permacrocked where as Rojo for Mourinho is a LB, not a CB. Under those dire circumstances, wishing to not play in a petty cup is a sin now?
No one cares who win this competition. Heck, nowadays even FA cup success is looked down upon generally.
I would rather we get an extra week off rather than playing and tiring in this mickey mouse cup.
As for using the B team, Mou is a proud prick. The midweek game against Fenerbache, both Smalling and Bailly started remember. They essentially played 3 games in 6 days and with Bailly's injury Smalling will definitely play against city which means he will be playing 4 games in 9 days. Now go on, tell me that much of football is normal for a professional footballer. I know you would say that just to counter the argument.

Nah, Mou will park the bus to avoid losing at home. He has lost his cojones for sometime now. Cant see us taking the initiative against any big teams sadly under him.

Judging by the fact we sell out nearly every week and we had nearly 50K coming to watch us on a Tuesday night, in a league cup game against *bleep* Preston North End I'm going to say I'm not the only one.
It feels damn good.

Mole becoming hopeful. This is uncharted territory FFS.
