Poor finishing and great Basel keeping prevented that from being a total blowout.

Comfortable night's work, didn't have to expend ourselves too much. Would have liked more goals but can't be too greedy.

Alexis and Walcott were superb. Although Alexis had a poor day in front of goal.

Anyone wanna guess when Lucas sees the pitch again?

Was forced to watch that cancerous team that is Barca instead but I heard we played well. Disappointed to see that Alexis played the whole game, a rest wouldn't harm him and we'd see Lucas Perez against a non-Championship level team.

I had as good as given up on him before the start of the season. A decade of inconsistency ... but now it looks like his qualities are finally coming together and he's playing in a side where he can put all these attributes to good use. I hope that his form continues and if that's so then I'm happy to have been wrong in doubting his future.
