Holy shit the difference between him in CM and AM/wing is outrageous. This guy was born to play in Klopp's midfield. Never stops running. Never stops pressing. Makes amazing late runs. Unbelievable close control in tight space. Has offensive instincts and a good shot.

Now 6 games this season is what I'm praising because Klopp has completely changed his role. It's like he's a new player.

I've always been fair. I praise when players do well and slate when they don't.

Tbh I have always defended him (for England anyways). He is fantastic at linking midfield to attack. Probably the nearest england will ever get to having an Iniesta type player.

Klopp is making him play like Kagawa and its working well.

the Owl and David Brent both played him wrong.

Shoehorning him the last 2 years as a forward was just wrong. He's not a forward. His managers did a disservice to him.

He's always been capable of doing this in midfield. I'm glad Klopp found a way to get the best out of him.

Been watching Liverpool a bit and from the first game on I've been praising Lallana, who looked revived this season. As I said, I think he's easily been one of Pool's best players so far.

One of the best things Klopp has done as manager. He has literally fixed every gripe that has been raised against him. He's changed his tactics from last year, he's finally demoted Moreno, and he replaced Mignolet as a keeper while bringing stability to the defence at the same time.

Still, moving Lallana into a deeper position, which no manager has done before, is a masterstroke for him. It fits all of Lallana's best qualities, and has really brought the best out of him. Obviously the team around him and the tactical style help a lot too, but hats off to Klopp and Lallana.

Klopp was the best thing to happen to him. Easily a top 3 English player atm. Maybe even top 2.

I don't think anyone in the English team is even close to his level of performance and consistency.

Originally I wanted him at Spurs when he went to Liverpool, but it didn't happen. It seemed like a good decision at Spurs given how he's been at Pool, but he's done so well this season. I've always been a fan.

Good return for a good player, and he offers so much more than his statistics entail. I'm actually quite impressed he's managed those numbers since his goal and assist count has always been one of the criticized parts of his game.

This is the big difference between this season and previous ones though. His final product has always been lacking. He's always done a good job over the pitch in terms of work rate, link up, technical ability, etc. but there was always something missing a little bit in the final third from him. This season he's doing all those other great things he's always done, and maybe to a higher level even, but he's also started to fix his end product. He's been a revelation under Klopp really.
