Going to watch Friday.

Hacksaw Ridge the 8th.

Can't wait for both. Also going to try and see Life, Animated at my work. Sound like a documentary that will make everyone cry.

@Freeza Chris Stuckmann gave Hacksaw Ridge high praise. Now that I know a little more about the movie, I'm hyped and positive it'll be one of the best of the year.

I'll trust Mel Gibson any day as a director after giving us the GOAT chase movie. I love Apocalypto so much. Endlessly rewatchable. Don't know why people call that movie christian propaganda.

Fully expect Hacksaw Ridge to be great but receive a lot of bad reviews because of Gibson's past comments.

I don't think this has been posted before in GL but it's a (very) short movie that's only a few minutes long. I loved it and have watched it several times already.

Decided to finally watch The social network after finishing some coding tutorials. You know one of those movies almost everyone has watched, and you knew about it but never got around to watch it? That's how this movie was with me.

It was pretty damn good. Also reminded me to watch out who I share ideas with. For example this guy from my internship, wanted me to send my project to him after the customer was impressed with it, from our presentation (The Movie House - Part 8 - Page 23 3w2MWDX). Not saying this idea is anywhere close to Facebook Laughing

Captain Fantastic - 8.3

Viggo Moretensen  Honestly I don't believe anybody else in the world could have pulled out this role and made it believable like Viggo did.

The movie itself is really good and enjoyable with many themes.

Also watched The Neon Demon.

Absolutely garbage. 5.0/10 I haven't been this bored watching a movie since forever. Forced myself to finish it. The visuals and score were great but my goodness the story was boring with a shit attempt at a twist ending.

As much as me and McAgger can disgree sometimes and I don't think anyone has a taste that resembles mine so much Proud

Agree with both sentiments. Didn't love Captain Fantastic as much. Mainly due to some of the middle parts of the movie. But casting was amazing.

It's shit.

Wish he'd go back to his Bronson/Pusher/Drive stuff. Neon Demon is the worst movie I've seen all year

My ranking of 2016 films I've seen so far. Raking is mostly based on how much I personally enjoyed each film and the different highs of emotions I felt.

Sing Street - 8.5
Cap: Civil War - 8.4
Captain Fantastic - 8.3
Hell or High Water - 8.3
Everybody Wants Some!! - 8.3
Zootopia - 8.3
Deadpool - 8.3
10 Cloverfield Lane - 8.2
Green Room - 8.0
The Lobster - 8.0
The Nice Guys - 8.0
Eye in the Sky - 8.0
-----------------------
Triple 9 - 7.5
BvS: Dawn of Justice - 7.4
X-Men: Apocalypse - 7.4
Midnight Special - 7.4
13 Hours - 7.3
Eddie the Eagle - 7.2
Race - 7.0
-----------------------
Nerve - 6.4
Money Monster - 6.0
The VVitch - 5.9
The Shallows - 5.1
The Neon Demon - 5.0
The Purge Election Year - 3.0

So essentially 3 sections. Top section were really fantastic movies. Middle section decent movies. And last section is absolute horseshit.

lol I can definitely see some people being like the CEO if the world ever went to shit like that.

This was only my 3rd ever Korean film after Oldboy and I saw the Devil.

RG, you went through the phase, what was the best movie you watched? I'm too lazy to go back and find all your ratings Laughing

Train to Busan - 9.2
A Tale of Two sisters - 9/10
The Man from nowhere - 8.7
A Bittersweet Life - 8.7
The Chaser - 8.5
Oldboy - 8.4/10
New world - 8.3
I saw the devil - 8/10
The yellow Sea - 6.5/10

I am not sure how you will find those though. A tale of two sisters is everything I know you will love for example but the first two act are slow burners. It pays off in the end but if you need to be in the mood for it.

You will love The man from nowhere and A bittersweet life 100%.

Would you rather (2012)

Similar to Circle(2015), this was enjoyable. Very low budget film.
