Aguero to miss out for them. Sane might start and Mkhitaryan and possibly Valencia and Fellaini to miss out for us. Quite even I would say, the chances.

Who do you think will win. Home match and everything and that will mean Jose hopefully wont park and will go for the win instead.

Well if he parks and we get a point, it wont be the end of the world i guess as its just the beginning of the season. But since the onus is on us with their most important player missing owing to suspension, I believe he will look for a win.

Okay, joking aside, I think this will be a very boring 0-0. You guys will look for counterattacks mainly and City will be more cautious than in their previous games to prevent counterattacks. I foresee a Madrid-Barca 2011 CL level borefest until someone scores from a set play (which won't happen so it will end 0-0).

If we look for counter attacks and plays a team thats actually suited to making that work, I can see us winning comfortably as a matter of fact cos of their shit defense and high line. But the thing is the likes of Rooney and Mata wont get dropped and any chance we have in counter attacking them lot will get fizzled out by these slow movers struggling to run behind their line. And yea I agree, cos of that it will be a both the teams canceling each other out like 0-0 draw.

Instead play Rashford and Lingard with Martial in whatever formation with Pogba and Zlatan to feed them balls to run and I can see us getting all 3 points here.

Why wouldn't Valencia play?

Will be back only by Friday. 15 hours straight flight or something. Unlikely he will get picked owing to lack of preparation.
But then theres this rumor going on that he will ask his NT coach to exempt him from the friendly and thereby paving way to get back quickly. With Jose at the helm we cant rule out that possibility i guess lol. He hates missing his first teamers and for a vital game as this might just call up Valencia to turn up early.

I actually think United will win 2 or 3 - 1 tbh, unfortunately.

You guys are however lucky as Mou under no circumstance will drop Rooney as of yet for the match  and will indeed play Fellaini- Pogba behind Fat Rooni.

However You might just get your wish fulfilled by the time the return fixture happens at Etihad I guess. Pogba in that no.10 running wild in front of an actual working midfield!

Blind is a very solid and smart defender. Paired with someone who can be more of a sweeper type who's also good aerially he could be part of a very good pairing.

That said not sure why he's writing off Matip who has looked fantastic so far and is very talented and Lovren who has performed at a high level in the PL before and has performed at a high level under Klopp in general. Both are better than Sakho.
