Re: Juventus Champions League campaign 2016-17
Oh boy Porto is one tricky side...
Hector Herrera, Maxi Pereira, Ruben Neves, Brahimi, Silva, Pedro
It will be one hell of a game.

Looks like 2015 all over again. I see us making a run to the Finals. It's in the cards really...

I feel these draws are fixed :/ All games have a clear favorite !
Happy for it though.
First we face Alves former club, then Pjaca's then Pjanic's and now Sandro's lol.
Buffon and Casillas united again!

We couldn't get any easier opponent on paper.
If we don't underestimate them we can easily go through even though they are a team packed with talents like Devi mentioned. If we keep our team on form and bring a quality midfielder in January , with a bit of luck we can reach the final again. I got a feeling ...

Draxler is available in January, we should definitely go for him. He will not be cup tied because Wolfsburg aren't in the CL. He would push for it imo because 2 years ago we were close to him.

Draxler has a shit attitude. Don't want players like that in Juve.
Bad news is that it seems Zaza will be sent back to us in January.

Mandzu Tevez Licht, but Juve tamed them.At least drax is not a balotelli.
Zaza's situation could become interesting.

Shit like Gotze, he has no balls. I hate players like that. I would love 11 Gatusso's over 11 Draxlers

Re: Juventus Champions League campaign 2016-17
Not the same kind of attitude. Only Tevez was a trouble maker. Litch and Mandzukic have outstanding attitudes towards their clubs.
Draxler is even out of the squad because of all his complaining. He even publicly stated he wanted to leave shortly after joining them the moment results weren't coming through.
Tevez was a star and CL winner. Draxler should keep quiet and work, instead of thinking that he is a star at 23. If he wants to leave then manage it in a better way, and in the mean time play for the club that shelled a huge fee for you and that desperately needs performances.

Re: Juventus Champions League campaign 2016-17
Draxler was also afraid to join us because of the presumed media attention.
I remember him saying he felt relieved after he saw how poorly we started last season and then during the Euro saying how much he would've liked to have won the scudetto with Juventus in the same season we recovered from that start.
It's not the right mentality, he is a player that is surplus. He is a player that is only effective with the ball on his foot. The problem becomes when you have a talented group of attackers but only one ball.

Draxler is not the type of player we need atm. He's talented , no doubts but he's also a pu..y.
First he was unsure of joining us and now the situation with Wolfsburg...
We don't need that player.Only if it comes very cheap because of the situation. We have to get Witsel ASAP and maybe another mid for depth as Asamoah and Lemina will leave for African Cup.

Re: Juventus Champions League campaign 2016-17
How fit is Marchisio ? If not 100% i don't think he will start.
Porto is undefeated at home this season (so is Juve). Their full starting XI is available and they are expected to start with a lot of confidence since they won the last 6 games. I don't know any player from Porto exception made of Casillas.
Dunno what defence Max will lineup tomorrow... i read that Bonucci might not play because of the feud vs Palermo... Sandro is facing his former team hopefully he destroys them.
Hypothetical Juve lineup
Maybe Bonucci and Alves will start but i feel safer with Licht as a RB. Nmw i'm confident, i expect something like a 1-0 win or a low scoring draw. Then we trash them at the J-Stadium and advance in the next round.

Barzagli or Chiellini will definitely leave the pitch in the first 30 minutes...
It was a good decision to leave Bonbon out. We need some discipline.

Re: Juventus Champions League campaign 2016-17
I think the goal here is not to lose. Not that the team should look for a draw, but that we shouldn't be unhappy with a 1-1 or a 2-2 depending on how the game plays out. The beat Bayern iirc at home a season or 2 ago so they know how to do damage.
The lineup is good, its a shame about Bonucci. I hope that Chiellini and Barzagli are fit enough. They were both doubts for this game and starting them here might backfire for the next few games. I expect Marchisio to come on early-ish on the second half since Pjanic too was a doubt with an inflamed heel or something.

Now this is the Pjaca I know and I've seen on the euros. You could have noticed that after that goal his self confidence was raised.
