I'm not saying that City haven't been better. But Stoke would be right to feel harshly treated about the penalty that they didn't get.

That penalty
Hopefully this is a thing now as opposed to Dean giving Stoke one back. Arsenal especially suffers from this nonsensical defending.

Stoke had a clearer penalty not called
Well i agree, still though they'd still be winning. So it still negates the arguement entirely.
At the end of the day they deserved to win a lot more last week than Sunderland deserved anything and they deserve to be winning this week.
It's all nonsense.
Thats a stupid counter argument. We never know. Had Stoke won that penalty and scored they would have been right back in it with an entire half to go. City defense is not at all looking bright and they could snatched a point if things had gone their way there.
Last week, yea it was Moyes being moyes. However there wasnt a goal coming until he made that substitution. So they were lucky there as well, however differently you want to spin it.
Eh? the penalty call for Stoke was right at the end of the half there's no way they have got another before half time.....
Also talking of spin You are doing exactly that. Sunderland did *bleep* all other than the equaliser and didn't really deserve anything on the balance of play.
But of course that doesn't matter when you are arguing in case of the underdog

Hmm may be we can all shake hands and part on the conclusion that Dean is indeed a shit referee.

Sterling wasn't even looking at the ball while holding back shawcross. Mike Dean was just being consistent. That's a foul anyday and a penalty

Look at it from another perspective. Had Moyes not made that change and kept Defoe on the pitch, would city have won that match? Honestly? They werent looking like a team that would score and I am not biased or anything when i say that. Let's forget about luck and stuff for a moment. Agreed Sunderland didnt deserve shit all from the match. But for the hallowed best coach in the world to win a game against a pleb team with a clown at helm they had to bank on a brainfart decision by Moyesie Thats all.

Didn't looked like he touched him and Shawcross pushed him
I'm all for stopping the pushing and pulling but that wasn't an example of such imo.
I don't really care much in this instance because Stoke should have got a penalty earlier but in general i want to see more of the City penalty and less of the Stoke penalty imo.

Caballero's distribution
Says a lot about Hart that he can't even do better than that.

Sure once they equalise, but that's a very small windowed view of it all.
Looking at the game as a whole, a City win wasn't lucky at all and Sunderland were more lucky to equalise than City were to win the game.

Re: English Premier League '16-'17 Discussion
Gotta give it to Mou, one thing hes good at is buying the right players straight away when he goes to a new club. He even adds more mid season if he thinks he needs it, and the clubs always comply with it. Also its straight away winning start and looking good.
Tbh though I didnt see all of the Man U matches so far, but can see the potential and abilities already. If they live up to potential and all their new players perform, they can be a bit scary

Sterling's final product is worthy of an U16. Wtf is that. Navas isn't much better either.

De Bruyne's role is a bit weird imo, doesn't really fit tbh.

De Bruyne's pace is poor. By the time he gathers the ball and gets into strike distance for a pass or a shot, the defense has recovered.
