No wonder adultery is encouraged in the dressing room, and families destroyed.
Schweini probably got bullied and badmouthed out of the team for committing to true, earnest, eternal love

I knew mourinho would play fellaini. he is a big strong thug that kicks and elbows people in the face. plus he can win a header at the back post exactly the kind of player mourinho likes.Firenze wrote:new manager, new season

Keep an eye on Lewis Cook for Bournemouth. 19 year old CM from Leeds, meant to be a really big talent.

Pretty much, the type of player that Mourinho enjoys building his teams around. He'll need to teach Fellaini how to go down easy and he is the Mourinho all round package of delightfulness

It still annoys me when players moan/swear/argue with the ref over a decision. Say the ref gives a penalty just because your billy big bollocks CB comes up to him screaming "ref that's never a *bleep* penalty" doesn't mean the ref is going to think you know what this angry SOB is right, I better reverse my decision and let this game carry on.

the intent is to intimidate them and influence decisions later on in the game usually

Trying to do that but it's not that easy as Bournemouth seem to have two Cooks on the pitch.
Too many Cooks spoil the mash IMO

Bournemouth are doing well.
Mourinho must hate the fact there is 0 pace in this United team. No chance of a counter attack lol

I know it is but it is still stupid. I really wish managers would stamp it out form their players, it is embarrassing to watch to a weekly basis.

Re: English Premier League '16-'17 Discussion
The other Cook plays CB, if that helps.
United hardly using their midfield so far. Doesn't help when Fellaini and Rooney are in there, I know, but they've been quite direct so far.
Bournemouth are lacking width. Ibe keeps coming in off the right flank and running into dead ends.

I imagine it would be fairly easy to stamp out, just start handing out red cards when it happens consistently. Eventually teams will stop.

I thought there was supposed to be rules this year which allows to ref to book players who do this?

Honestly we look shite. Hoofing a lot. Rooney stinking it up and losing the ball when he gets it. Valencia with the ol' look like you're gonna cut inside but then bomb down the line and whip in a cross that misses everyone.
btw I don't think I've ever seen Valencia cut inside when he's shimmying trying to throw the defender off but they always fall for it, baffling.

Martial and Valencia are pacey, dunno why Lingard isn't on the bench, the lad has a nice burst of pace on him too

Clearly Fellaini is playing in the pivot in preparation for Pogba coming into the team.
Makes sense tbh.
They are very similar players after all.

They said it was and a red card for swearing at a ref but I doubt they'll do it because not all refs will and then the ones who do will end up getting shafted because they'll be blamed by managers on trying to make the game all about them instead of the football etc.
United starting to get in to the game here and passing around Bournemouth without too much danger, Rooney had a fairly decent chance but all he done was make a pass back to Boruc.

Re: English Premier League '16-'17 Discussion
It's not really a surprise they look better when they pass it around for a bit.
I mean when you have Zlatan, Rooney, Herrera and Mata you should be passing it around lol.

Two players were booked for opposing the ref in the Boro/Stoke game yesterday and nobody complained. And from the highlights I've seen of the other games there hasn't been a great deal of dissent.

Yeah these new guidelines (these are more guidelines than rules I think?) sounded pretty ambitious.
Hard to follow through when you have those superstars used to acting like they own the place.
