Well after seeing a thread being created for Arsenal thought why not create one for Liverpool as well. Besides, we can all see how Leicester are going to win the PL this season. Therefore one question that every die hard Liverpool fan would ask to himself is "How the hell are leicester doing it before Liverpool:affraid: " (with all due respect to leicester).

So, how many years until we win one

P.S: Please don't start with the usual we have 18... Just. Don't.

This. I also think they shouldn't write themselves off next season after all being positive is what's important. Enough about Man utd though lets talk about Liverpool. I think few tweaks in team and they should challenge for title next season.

Klopp is a good manager but Liverpool simply don't have the squad for it. When they get a squad capable of winning a title, I'll comment on an actual time frame.

I agree.. in parts.

I know Klopp is more than capable of winning a title but without a proper squad even he can't do anything. Our defense needs to be fixed which I hope is fixed with the arrival of Joel Matip (for free which is a good thing), coz he has been good with Shalke. That said and done.. we don't have a quality mid-field either except for Can others are inconsistent.

Take Coutinho out of attack and what we have is a very inconsistent attack as well.

What Leicester have done this season is going to be a one off, I am pretty sure. So if we see by the normal standards then we need atleast 4-5 world class players with experience in the team which I don't think is the case with us.

Look at the squad carefully without the red tinted glasses and you'll see what we have is a young squad with lack of a proper leader and experienced players in all departments.

Of all the players we have right now only Sturridge (if he is fit) Coutinho and Can would become world class in the next 2-3 years, others have a lot of catching up to do.

So I would say that unless some sort of MAGIC does not happen we won't be challenging for the title for the next 2-3 years.

We have a stinking mentality when it comes to the league (read: bottlers) and that will realistically always be the case.

However, expect us to do good in continental and cup competitions.

I think the simple answer is give klopp the funds to buy top class players and we have a chance.

There's no stand out teams in the PL nowadays, most teams are on a similar level. Provided that Liverpool make some solid signings in the summer, plus with Klopp at the helm, I can see them challenging for it within the next few seasons.

Well considering league GOATS like Conte and Pep have entered the fray, I'd say it's going to be pretty difficult.

Also, anytime McAgger gets too excited, the footballing Gods seem to take it away from him. Not all the time, of course but quite a few with Liverpool. He got Suarez, Barcelona took him. Brendan was the system, turns out, he was an arrogant dud who is clueless about all matters related to life. Genuinely close to the title, Gerrard slips. Favourites in Europa Leauge, Sevilla is still in the competition, for some reason I don't know.

Of course, Liverpool can win the title but that would solely depend on Liverpool's resolve and skill as a team. Klopp is showing real signs that he can improve the team and they have improved. But so did Brendan and Rafa so it's really a wait and see.
