Since we are all still reveling in the after-taste of the clasico victory (still feels good) and forgot to open a thread for the UCL match, i decided to do that.
I hope our players are not taking this match as lightly as we fans are.
We need a resounding victory so that we can give some of the bench boys (Isco and James..Lmao) a chance in the second leg and have their morale at good levels for the semis.
We dont just need a good performance, we need to bang in a lot goals in order to make a statement to whoever we will meet in the Semis. We have to let them know the clasico defeat was not a one-off performance; this is a new and determined madrid. This will force them to reshuffle their tactics rather than play to their strength.

Sergio Ramos needs to pick up a yellow card for the sake of the team. Not that i would prefer him over Varane in the Semis, but we need our full squad at our disposal.

Wolfsburg are fresh off a 3 - 0 defeat on Sunday and word has it that their best player - Julian Draxler is suffering from a knee problem.
Gone are the days when i prayed to meet my opponents best line-up. Barca's recent victories and historical references have shown that we need a bit of luck to win trophies.
The weaker our opponents, the better for us.
The bragging rights are in the trophy count.

Starting Eleven: same as el clasico except Danilo replacing carvajal
Kroos Modric and Bale will be substituted for Isco/kovacic James and Jese. (provided we have up to 3 goals by 60 minutes)
Ronaldo 2-3 goals
Bale 1-2 goals and 2 assists
benzema 1 goal

first half: 0 - 3
Scoreline 0 - 4, 1 - 5

This could be over the top, but that's what a clasico victory at Camp Nou does to the fans.
I hope we never have a reason to come back down to earth.
