Re: Barclay's Premier League '15-'16 discussion V10
Honestly, Fox, I think you're being quite biased with your analysis. Let me first begin by saying that I don't want Hazard anywhere near Madrid. Now, with that being out of the way, let's take a second to acknowledge the achievements, however small, of this player:
He was PFA player of the year and Premier League Player of the Season in 2015 - an award previously won by the likes of Suarez and Bale. At some point, he was even widely perceived as a top 5 player in the world. True, he hasn't been able to replicate that stellar form of last season. But it would be unfair to throw his past achievements under the rug.
You seemed upset when another poster mentioned him in the same breath as Messi, yet that didn't impede you from mentioning Mahrez in the same sentence as Messi, and even strongly recommending him for Madrid...based on one good season...which still hasn't finished yet.
I honestly have nothing against Mahrez. But he's just playing catching up to Hazard right now. And in my humble opinion, I think it would be wise to wait until he matches the latter's achievements, both individually and with their respective teams, before we can accurately, confidently and safely say that he's actually better.

This is so embarrassing.
If Ozil wasn't thinking about leaving now he is for sure.

Better let Ozil know lads, he's not world class because he doesn't score goals.
Ozil still has a better record this season then hazard statistically..
Also, Ozil is a much better player, and is much more talented. He has something called an end product, something hazard has none of.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '15-'16 discussion V10
How does he have no end product?
Hazard the 3 seasons at chelsea before this one:
17 goals 11 assists
16 goals 7 assists
10 goals 14 assists
plus higher numbers at Lille
This season apart, those numbers are at least as good as Ozil's and much better than Mahrez.
How in the world is comparing someone to Neymar the same thing as comparing them to Mahrez? Also "even Sanchez" ? Sanchez, Hazard, and specially Neymar have done too much in their careers to be put down like that. Maybe Mahrez will stay great, but he definitely can't hang with Neymar yet. Like Carthage said, he is playing catch up.

Continue that for the rest of the season and we'll be alright imo.

If Arsenal don't win the league Wenger should be sacked, the title is being served to them on a platter and yet they're bottling it .
Was having a discussion with a few pals yesterday and someone said the same. Why do people keep on saying this though?
How was it served for us on a platter.

Agreed. I love the Mahrez story but people need to chill. Every chance he gets snapped up by a mega club for 2016-17 and flops.
He needs to stay in PL tbh.

Looks like Burnley are going to do it again, btw. They're 6 or 7 points safe in the auto-promotion spots, depending on whether Middlesborough win their game in hand, with 9 games left. That's a very well run club. And Sean Dyche

Can't decide what I want from this Everton v Arsenal match. It's always fun when Everton lose, but it would be fun to see the Arsenal meltdown continue.
But what I do know is that in the second game I'll be watching today Crystal Palace are going to beat Leicester

Everton have been poor. Besic couldn't pass to a teammate to save his life. Lukaku needs more support, he's left to do everything by himself.

time to make a change Arsene. Get Campbell on or something.
Everton closing in on pulling one back. Not too far fetched to see Arsenal crumble again.

Everton have been the biggest chokers this season. The amount of times they've lost when 2-0 up is beyond ridiculous
