Re: People need to admit Chiellini is one of the best CBs of this generation
Massive, MASSIVE loss for Sarri and Juventus who's luck could not get any worse after what has been a terrible two weeks for him.
Chiellini is a warrior as we all know but just having turned 35 and already having niggling strains around that area signalling what may have been a ticking time bomb in his current injury, most definitely would be out for the season given his age thus slower recovery process for an already delicate area.
That is unless a miracle or some very rigorous recovery processes after a successful surgery takes place but either way the long departure out of game time in itself leaves him out of form after.
This cannot be a better time to put in de Ligt whom I predicted Sarri would not play above Bonucci-Chiellini cause that is just how stubborn he is. de Ligt who was notably passive aggressive in his words after being benched all of last game, will definitely be welcoming this opportunity and rightfully so. Should it be him and Bonucci partnering together that could turn out to be an attacking spectacle from the centre-back line.
That is unless old Sarri favourite Rugani plays over him cause 'Calcio experience' to which I can see happening given his mulish mentality when it comes to squad changes.

Bad news for Juve, but not so tragic when you've just signed Matthijs De Ligt.
Conversely, it will facilitate his inclusion into team.
Sarri is a very conservative coach , so the Dutch defender risked to wait more than is necessary .. He wasn't considered starter for these matches ...
It's a terrible news especially for Chiellini (and in secundis, for NT with a view to Euro 2000).
Because it means = career ended.
Impossible to get back to high level after it if you're old 35.

Signing a 75m defender that all clubs were after.

best CB since prime Vidic, but yeah, fortunately you have De Ligt. Shame it wasn't Bonucci that got injured though.

Stop whining. I was told the starting CB pair was Bonnucci De Ligt anyway.
