When he came on for Gomez yesterday, he was (indirectly) involved in all of the three German goals.

His runs create spaces en masse - his off-the-ball movement is just so ridiculously good that it almost doesn't matter that he's worse at finishing than Gomez. Yes, Gomez didn't receive any service, so he shouldn't be blamed for not scoring. But Klose didn't receive any service either - and he scored neither. But what he did, was basically force Brazils defenders to chase him in a way, that made it very easy for his collegues to score. Before Kroos' penalty that Mr. Piggy converted it was Klose who pulled defenders to the left, opening up space in the middle of the box, before he back-heeled the ball in that general direction.

Götzes goal came from space generated by Klose as well.

Absolutely f*cking brilliant squad player, underrated as hell, still, and his greates problem is probably that he never played with a club team that had a style that suited him, since he left Bremen. He's the better Robin van Persie, yet he only gets to show it in the NT, and that's kinda sad.

He's extremely intelligent and opens up space in tight defenses, as well as being a good finisher. Also has work rate and is fast compared to snail paced Italian CBs.

Well you certainly never see people rave about him like they do about players like Henry or whoever, who maybe is just as good, but TBH, when did they score 13 WC goals?

Klose for me is one of the best strikers. The guy is always at the right place at the right time.

Has Lazio any good pre-season games planned before the season starts?

Klose will take Serie A like a tornado then get injured after two months, then come back again to defeat AS Roma, AC Milan etc.
I mean seriously, anyone who watched Lazio know that they had very good creators but not a decent finisher. Maybe, Klose joined them for that reason

Not to turn this into a Lazio thread, but we already know what Klose is capable of doing, I'm a little more excited to see what Djibril Cissé can do in Serie A. Wherever he has played in his career, he has put the ball in the back of the net.
