West Ham v Liverpool
We're in the early kick-off tomorrow. Not feeling hugely confident about this one. So far neither our results or performances have been any better than under Rodgers. We've managed to score more than one goal only once in the last six matches. West Ham have been pretty dire as well, though, since they lost all their creative players to injuries. Apparently Payet will be back in the squad for this one, though. Hopefully we'll nick it 1-0.

Would prefer Ibe starting over either of Firmino, Lallana and Coutinho. Also, Lucas should start over Emre.
PS: since when Upton Park became Boleyn Ground???

Only difference yet is that we are beating teams above us properly, Probably the Klopp effect.
Not confident at all about this one, But its hugely important to get these wins.

Sturridge and Henderson both ruled out for this game.
As is Skrtel, Milner, Origi, Allen, Ings, Gomez, Enrique (lulz), Rossiter, Flanagan.

Worrying about Henderson. The injury he had earlier was something in his foot that apparently couldn't be treated, something about the bone, that you just had to wait for it to get better. I don't remember exactly and can't be bothered to search, but if it's the same thing now it's worrying, raising the question has the injury come to stay permanently.
They're the same thing. Boleyn Ground is the official name of the stadium.

West Ham are now unbeaten in seven Premier League home games (W3 D4) and have not lost at the Boleyn Ground since August 22.

They beat us 3-0 at Anfield, I think the players will be up for revenge.
I expect us to win however it takes.

We could have Aguero up there and it wouldn't make a difference with our slow and ponderous build-up play.

You aren't slow on build up. Actually it looks a bit rushed. Playing very narrow though like Dortmund. Wing backs are asked to provide width.

Yes we are slow, so many players end up with their backs to goal, that's no way to build-up attacks.
The worst thing about this game is not that it was a shit performance, the worst thing is that it was a predictable shit performance.

thats true. and its not like these teams are having to work hard or do something top class to beat us. they are beating us without breaking sweatArt Morte wrote:Adit wrote:You aren't slow on build up.
