Real Madrid and Atleti apparently signed underaged players as well and it's just a matter of time for sanctions to drop... great. We better do some serious business this summer before the transfer window closes on us for a year.

Great!! Perez won't be able to spend stupid amount of millions on players that will force the coach to mash them all on the same lineup.

There is one problem only, I do hope we are punished before the transfer window opens, and not like Barcelona allowing us to buy in a transfer window and then apply the punishment.

we weren't allowed to buy the first summer but when you appeal they can't touch you till the decision is officially made, which lasted the summer to make that decision.
nontheless perez will definitely appeal if any of this crazy stuff actually happens.

So we get a transfer ban in Feb. Appeal in March, and the decision is made official in May and no further appeals. Yay!!

lol fifa are in no position to ban anyone from anything at this moment. they should and will focus on the mess they've gotten themselves into. i don't see this going anywhere. as he said, he is currently banned, so i'm paying little attention to this until they can get their house in order

Blessing in disguise. No more buy players and worry about fitting them in later. We have already bought alot of youngsters and can just recall them before the ban starts if we need them. Just get us that LB ffs

just read blatter's comments, he said "if they did what barcelona did, they should be punished". very different from they did it and we will punish them. i'm guessing they are investigating; nothing concrete's been brought up. with that said, fifa have more pressing issues to focus on than what we do at real madrid

I've been hearing this for a year now. I remember last year they said that the ban for Real Madrid was bound to happen within a week.

Also, and like tito said, Blatter didn't say Real Madrid will be punished. He said if we're guilty then we need to be punished, to which I say "duh"..

And finally, even if we were to be banned, it would be a blessing in disguise really. A guy like Florentino shouldn't be left alone with a checkbook.

Flo has publically listed everyone in system and explained the questions. i don't take any stock in this at all. They have been investigating this for 2 years now. if there was something to it, it would have been dealt with long ago.

And who the hell is Blatter. he has nothing more to do with FIFA, so why is he being quoted as if he may have something to do with this?
