In fairness in a back 3, i can see Alaba as a CB working extremely well. in a flat back 4 though i have a harder time believing it.

Benatia is never fit. NEVER. Always muscle problems. We'll see how many minutes on the weekend if any, maybe he can be an option.

But why wouldn't you trust a 20 year old central midfield kid to play as a starting CB in an CL quarterfinal against a top team?
