Juventus Vs Bayern München (CL 2015/16)
Odds stacked heavily against Juventus.
Bayern are unbeaten in the last 6 games against Juventus which includes three straight wins
Only team that has beaten Juventus at the J-stadium in Europe. And the Juventus stadium is generally considered a fortress for Juventus.
Mandzukic will be up against his former team
Vidal and Coman from Bayern's end too
First time in his career, Pep faces Juventus.
Likewise, Allegri faces Bayern for the first time.
Hopefully a great clash is in the offing.

I don't see Bayern getting past Juve at Turin tbh. If Juve put performance like they did against Man city with 3 CBs forging strongest wall in Europe it will be long night for Pepito and lads.

As long as our defense keep playing as it should we can go to penalties at least

Injury update :
Juventus : Mandzukic out for a month and will miss the 1st leg
Bayern : Martinez out for a month and will miss the first leg.
Boateng out for the season and will miss both legs.
Basically they have only Badstuber and Serdar Tasci as the 'fit' CB's for the moment.
Damn, hope we can take advantage of this.

Juve needs finish it off at Turin itself if they want to knock Bayern. They wont be able to pull off madrid with bayern beacause Allianz arena is the most difficult ground to win even tougher than Camp nou atm imo

Re: Juventus Vs Bayern München (CL 2015/16)
Maybe it's just me, but i find Bayern to be a bit weaker this season than the past 2. I suspect the loss of prime RObben in offense + Alonso being their mediocentro makes them more vulnerable in transition. I go just Juve on this one

That's no different to the previous two seasons though
They'll look weaker due to injuries in defense but that's it.

Now that i have world wide tv i find myself watching more bundesliga, and some of their games are much closer than what we think. They look a lot more vulnerable in transition.
The match up against juve in interesting for that reason, juve are a team that can turtle back well and play in transition.

It's going to be an incredible tie. I go with Juve win on aggregate by two goals.
This one and Barca-Arse are two really tasty match ups.

Re: Juventus Vs Bayern München (CL 2015/16)
It is pointless to rely on him. He is too injury prone
I havent watched Juve this season bar that one game vs Napoli when they were in a slump. But they seem to have improved alot and are scoring more goals now too. Bayern have too many injuries to survive this game. It is Juve's to lose. If this injury ridden Bayern beats them over 2 legs then they should really be ashamed of themselves

Wha..How ridiculous to say that..
They still have Costa,Lewandowski,Muller,Thiago etc all in great form.
Even with a rusty backline, they are better on paper and still slight favorites.

Re: Juventus Vs Bayern München (CL 2015/16)
It is CL teams are alot more disciplined. Bayern cannot be with a CB partnership of Badstuber and some lower division guy. They are not playing Malmö where they could get away with it. They are playing the previous CL finalists with a pretty healthy squad in good form. All those attacking players may help them score 1 or 2 goals but which guy in that bunch is able to put in a proper defensive shift to help their backline. Thiago cant and he plays infront of their CBs
In my opinion i dont see Juve losing this tie and if they did should feel embarrassed no matter their performance

How many times has he actually been used as a CB ?
And do they still use the 3 man backline ?
That said,Alonso starting the game let alone which position is a big bonus in itself anyway.

Not as much he plays their and here and there, but they have lack of CB, not sure if Benatia will be back then, but if he is then they'll be ok I guess.
Yes, sometimes he still does, but I doubt he'll do that now with lack of CB.
True with his experience, but he's at the same time could be dangerous, especially against pretty young attacking team.

Re: Juventus Vs Bayern München (CL 2015/16)
I guess well see a backline of
Lahm - Alaba - Badstuber - Rafinha
or
Bernat - Alaba - Badstuber - Lahm
So i hope it will be
But Alonso will probably play instead of Kimmich

We are the real underdogs here, thats obvious. But if we crash out I want it at least to be really tight. I hope for no more injuries for the next days, it is kinda bad that we already lost Khedira

And Mandzukic.Imagine him pressing the shit out of Slowstuber. That would've come handy.
For me i think its a good opportunity to move back to 4-3-1-2 with Pereyra as TQ.
Khedira from an offensive point of view has surprised me this season. The way he combines Dybala and Morata and makes intelligent runs off the ball was great to see and that will be missed.I guess Pereyra will be that guy to plug the gap.
