This will be one of the most important game for Klopp so far! He has shown that he can win those difficult away games in EPL. We have also played a lot better in European games under him and got better results than our previous campaigns. Our home form against small teams at home is still questionable but he could manage to win against Swansea, even after playing an EL game on Thursday. But still this fixture will be different from all those fixtures. Southampton will be obviously pumped up to win a trophy under Koeman and they are playing at home. So it wont be a game where 'you go with high energy, pressing, harassing and you will be able to disrupt the other team and perform as you wish' because Southampton will also play with equal intensity in this game.

The best news for us is that Henderson and Sturridge might start tomorrow. These are the two most important players who just can not be replaced with any other player from our current squad. Also, Klopp has enough experience and tactical depth to win such games and thereby win trophies. Excited   !!

I think Klopp said something about not starting Henderson and Sturridge although both of them will be in the squad. I would expect Milner and Benteke to take those spots. Coutinho has only started full training and I don't see why he should be rushed. Let's have Lallana or Firmino instead. Though my personal favorite would be Teixeira.

A really tough away game, I'd be very happy if we progress.

Yep. He said they're hardly fit for 90 min and seeing it might be 120 min, it would make no sense to start 2 players who certainly HAVE to be subbed no matter how the game goes.

Big game for Origi I think. He needs to get more looks on the field, but obviously that will be tough if he isn't contributing. Still young though...might benefit from another loan if he can't get more field time.
