Next 6 games thread 2015-2016
The festive run of fixtures is upon us. In the next 40 days we play 10 fixtures, One every 4 days. We have nearly reached the point which can make or break our season, Hence the obligatory cursed next 6 games thread. The next 6 fixtures being:
Premier League
Man City v Liverpool Sat 21 Nov 17:30
Europa League - Group B
Liverpool v Bordeaux Thu 26 Nov 20:05
Premier League
Liverpool v Swansea Sun 29 Nov 16:15
League Cup - Quarter-Final
Southampton v Liverpool Wed 2 Dec 19:45
Premier League
Newcastle v Liverpool Sun 6 Dec 16:00
Europa League - Group B
FC Sion v Liverpool Thu 10 Dec 18:00
5 out of the 6 games are winnable. Beating Bordeaux would secure qualification and beating Sion would give us top spot and an easy draw for the next round.

Re: Next 6 games thread 2015-2016
Not really the festive run yet, but anyway, if we could get wins against Swansea and Newcastle and progress in the EL I'd be happy with that.
Anything from tomorrow's game against City and/or beating Soton in the cup would be a bonus.

Re: Next 6 games thread 2015-2016
I think we should alternated between starting Benteke and Sturridge. That way neither gets injured.
We also get the chance to alternate between Coutinho, Lallana and Firmino and Teixeira as well.
Same thing with Milner, Hendo, Lucas, Can.
Get rotation going so that we don't suffer any more injuries.

I think we should use all the academy players who are capable of putting a shift here and there. If Klopp keeps experience and youth both in games, we should be able to manage this festive period

Re: Next 6 games thread 2015-2016
That would be five changes (1 ST, 2 AM, 2 CM) in each game. Don't you think that will hamper the team functioning as an unit? But we will do rotate regularly from hereon, I suppose.Don't call me James wrote:I think we should alternated between starting Benteke and Sturridge. That way neither gets injured.

You realize of course that was tongue in cheek, because Rodgers hailed him as the Welsh Xavi, and then he grew a beard.
Also I fully take responsibility for Liverpool's offside goal, lack of creativity and general lethargic pace against Newcastle. They all probably read my posts here before the game.

I did not know that
Allen is fine though. Decent depth player.
You should get Goretzka.
