That's just ridiculous. Because of Pogba's price tag, he should be judged on statistics? Despite where he plays and how he plays? If Barca sold prime Xavi for 100m would he have been judged by stats too then? Fabregas always picked up more goals and assists than him so would you take Fabregas over Xavi then?

I said some time ago in the overrated players thread that I thought Pogba is overrated, seems to be truth coming out now considering the huge price tag now.

Good to see everyone realizing how good KDB is nowadays. As for comparison with Hazard, KDB will always be more all round player and Hazard will likely to continue being the winger type, just different players. A bit like Zidane vs Ribery.

Hazard has been playing under Mou and Conte. If he played under Pep there would be threads saying he could be a Ballon D'Or candidate. I mean he's making that sissy runner Sterling looking like a high IQ wad of man talent instead of a flamboyant over rated player like he did under Pellegrini.

Remember when people were saying Hazard was better than Neymar? Was that Gil? I can't remember who but that debate literally lasted one good season lol

Anyways, back on topic. The knee jerk on GL is ridiculous. I remember when KDB first arrived at City people were calling him a over rated player, and now everyones like yeah the guys talented as hell! I said it many times, he just had to settle, and he now has the perfect coach to get the best out of him. Same thing I say about Pogba now, he just arrived at his new team, and his current set up around him isn't designed to get the best out of him so there will be some growing pains but he WILL come around. He's got a fantastic tool set to work with, and he will come good just like KDB did. Hazard, for as much as I like to crap on him because someone compared him to Neymar, I also think he's a damn fine player.

Judging players by their whatever's rating . What is this, Football Manager? De Bruyne was rock solid for Wolfsburg (even for frakking Werder Bremen) and has consistently had more impact than whatever Hazard has done these past few years.

Obviously I don't care about the rating but Hazard was player of the season in 14-15 and won Chelsea the league. He was great that season.

Jibers wasn't wrong at the time btw, he was pretty much just getting the ball and side passing.

He looked really uncomfortable, either Pep changed something or De Bruyne adapted because he obviously he looks fantastic now.

He was producing goals/assists despite being meh before the United game.

Aguero is probably the best player so far and then KDB.

Was he? i don't remember much tbh. He wasn't playing at all well against Sunderland, Stoke etc etc.

KDB was already very good last season for Man C.

Pretty funny, although a bit harsh on Mourinho (and I can't even believe I'm saying that).

If I'm Mou a few years ago, and I look at Hazard and KDB, I would have thought it perfectly understandable to sacrifice the latter in order to fund Matic and fill in a different midfield role. Hazard, when he's great, is truly great. And Matic had a season or so where he was phenomenal at Chelsea.

But in hindsight it does look like KDB has become the more consistent attacking midfielder from Belgium, and Chelsea shipping him off has come back to bite them.
