Massive season for him. Will be keeping this thread up to date week to week.

IMO, his last chance to show if he's gonna amount to anything at the top level.

Personally I'm not convinced. Don't see him breaking 12 goals in the PL this season.

Not sure if he's going to be starting up top or on the left, think the former.

Agent has said he wants to go in January after several seasons of mediocrity. Not sure where it leaves him career wise, he could probably carve out a decent career for a mid lvl team or be one of those cheap signings a top Serie A club gambles on. Not sure how long he has left on his contract though.

Also not sure if we let him leave in January since Cavani is rumoured to be going to Barca

I like the high-pressing game that the team is attempting to play under Ragnick, but I'm far from convinced that they can sustain it without a team of players that fit into such a system. I predict that Martial will be one of several players to leave in favor of players with a better work ethic, unless the next manager has other ideas.

Good luck to him. Hope he does well and we can find some buyers in the summer. Never good enough to play for a big team. However away from the pressure, I can see him just clicking into gear and lighting up La Liga.

Meh will be another Papu Gomez. Sevilla have got like a million wingers. They are just hoarding them from other teams. Laliga isn't as open as EPL so Martial will probably struggle if he isn't put as their CF.

yeah this is the best case scenario, hard to see us getting anything over 30 million for him though, was a massively disappointing signing for us

I'm still hugely against these mega money signings for unproven teenagers, when was the last time you heard of one that worked out? Viniscius I guess has come good now, but besides him it's just a long list of flops, stunts growth IMO, most of them don't develop that hunger

He's a decent player, imo, but in a weird spot where he's not really a winger, but not prolific enough to be a striker, either, for a top club. Kinda like Rashford - and I rate Martial higher out of these two. If their nationalities were reversed it would be Rashford heading out.
