30 minutes against Roma, he should have scored. He was an instant upgrade to Matri who struggled massively being the lone striker.
I want to see Fabio start with Novara

Great header. QUAGLIARELLA is back on the scoresheet. Quagliarella needs consistent performances now and he must be used almost every game, either as sub or starter against the "smaller" teams.. Matri will start against Udinese

Re: -| Former Players Thread| -
I would not start Matri against Udinese for a couple reasons
1. if Vucinic is still out, Matri will be the lone striker, isolated and ineffective
2. Juventus need wingers like Pepe/Estigarribia in this game- with great work rate
3. With Vidal back, Juventus will revert to a 4-2-3-1, 4-1-4-1 like formation
Quagliarella is the ideal lone striker, if it turns out to be another game like against Roma, tactic wise I would much rather see Quagliarella leading the line.

I predict Quag will take Matri's starting spot for awhile. Matri's formed has dipped a little, and Quag is just about to start his....

This is how it should be (not just Quagliarella taking Matri's spot) but players being allowed to prove their worth
I was so pleased today to see rotation in play, I know it was mainly due to suspensions and injuries but it was refreshing
Competition within the squad is a great thing
I somewhat agree Fab, but I think that is a little harsh- Matri is fantastic but he simply cannot function as a lone striker unless Vucinic is there as a winger, since he is not really a traditional winger by any means

Yeah youre right Luca, but I like the shift in attention off of Matri and onto Quag.
Creates competition, gives Matri a rest, Gives Quag some playing time and confidence.
Conte is a genius.... I think this was all planned to be honest.

Matris dip in form/confidence has co-incided quite well with FQ's return to the pitch.
Quite convinient.. or part of a master plan??
Either way, its worked out quite well.

Nevertheless, Juventus have made it clear that they have no intention to sell Vidal any time soon.
"It is true that Real Madrid have contacted his agent, but he is not for sale. I have made it clear to Felicevich, and indirectly to Madrid, that Vidal is not available, though," Marotta was quoted as saying by Tuttosport.
"It's not a matter of negotiating a transfer fee. It's quite simple. Arturo is a key player for Juventus right now, and for the future. End of story."
The 24-year-old midfielder joined Juventus from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2011, and has since developed into a key player at the Serie A leaders. He has a contract until June 2016 with his current club.
F*ck madrid!! We didn't beat Bayern? Let's buy Vidal because our midfield is soo weak right now. Really just reading this pisses me Off. They think they can only win if they buy every player who is doing good at his club.
F*ck off Real madrid, Man city and Barca. Leave our players alone.

Wtf, chill guys. It's the way football goes, they wanna strengthen their squad so they are trying to reinforce, nothing wrong with that. Leverkusen fans didn't do this either when we bought Vidal from them even though he was their best player..
It doesn't mean they will take him, Juve is in a pretty good financial position and Vidal is one of our best players, why would we sell? No point.

Re: -| Former Players Thread| -
Juventus have insisted that Arturo Vidal is not for sale after Real Madrid reportedly showed an interest in the player.
The Chilean joined the Old Lady from Bayer Leverkusen last summer and he’s been an instant success in Turin.
According to reports on Friday, Real Madrid have asked his agent, Fernando Felicevich, about the central midfielder.
The representative subsequently then informed the Bianconeri of the Spanish club’s desires.
“I made it clear to Felicevich, and indirectly to Real, that Vidal is not for sale,” Juventus director general Beppe Marotta is quoted as saying in Tuttosport.
“Vidal isn’t available for transfer and it has nothing to do with his fee. The simple truth is that Vidal is one of the pillars at Juventus for today and tomorrow.”
Juventus beat Bayern Munich to the South American’s signature last summer when they paid €10.5m for the 24-year-old.
Vidal, now valued at around the €20m mark, has scored six goals in 30 Serie A games so far this season.

direct trade for Higuain and we have a deal. Vidal is one of my favorite players but i think he's easier to replace the a potential Higuain would be..

now now, everyone should just calm down. We are in a look of a new midfielder, but its not like were desperate to sign every mediocre that is on the market. You wont get Higuain tho.

Does "new" mean "another" or a "replacement of Khedira" ?
Why not Higuain?
"It's a bit early now, but my son and I will be ready to open talks with Juventus in May," the 24-year-old's father said to Tuttosport.
"The Bianconeri are one of the most prestigious clubs in the world, and any player would love to play for them." - his father
I know the club wants to keep him but if he himself are open to other options as he is not considered a starting XI player. imagine the status he could have here in Juve and the possibilities he'd have now that we're in the CL next year, unbeaten since may 2011 and so on.. Tons of reasons for him to come here..

Yeah, i think Higuain will weight on his future because he has clearly become Benzema's back up. Dont worry, you will know soon enough. some madrid fans havent come to terms with the fact that he might leave.
Replacement for Lass, Khedira is not good enough to hold that position alone anyway.
