De Gea watch
How come he dont even have one thread in general history. This thread we will closely monitor progress during this season and progress of his contract situations.
Now BBC reported that MANU have decided to keep him. Is that a good move considering he wont be playing for them after january when the inevitable pre contract gets signed.

Re: De Gea watch
He'll come to Madrid this summer. Uncle Flo is just attracting media's attraction like he did with Bale.

Re: De Gea watch
What are you on about? even if he doesn't sign a new contract he can't leave till his contract expires, which is the end of next season even if he signs a pre contract....Adit wrote:How come he dont even have one thread in general history. Think he meant that LvG wouldn't play DDG any more in that case

Re: De Gea watch
only 2 reasons man u should keep him. 1 is to get more money for him. 2 if they want one more good season out of him. but as it is now I don't think they will get either.

Don't think he's the type to play like shit on purpose tbh.
Still reckon he'll perform regardless and money means nothing to them.

Re: De Gea watch
What they need to decide is, would it be worth selling him for 20-30m now and risk not qualifying for CL if the replacement isn't up to it or keeping him and losing out on money but finishing top 4.
Think i'd personally keep him as long as i'm getting assurances he will be professional for the rest of the season.

Better keep him. Him being sold now would mean Romero as number 1 right ?

Re: De Gea watch
What is the point in singing him now when Real actually have two very good keepers?

Re: De Gea watch
Obviously not, I don't see how anything would have changed. If he is still a Man United player in September - which he won't - then he might play again.

Re: De Gea watch
So Utd are holding their breath for as long as is necessary to get 50m pounds for a gk on his last year, or a WORLD CLASS real player in exchange.
Great plan.
They better hope they don't faint, with Romero in the CL qualifiers.

Re: De Gea watch
After all these talks of Posturing and showing a statement it looks like Woody have drove United into a corner
Think we have woody by his ball now. Just need to decide when and how much to pull

Pls. Romero: 1 World Cup final, 1 Copa America final.Hapless_Hans wrote:So Utd are holding their breath for as long as is necessary to get 50m pounds for a gk on his last year, or a WORLD CLASS real player in exchange.

Re: De Gea watch
SPA have some legit upcoming talent in Oli, Asensio, etc, I can def. see them doing well in the EC. 1 EC final is definitely possible. I wouldn't take that bet if I were you. Re: De Gea watch
I heard Romero has 2 shaky moments against Spurs. But if they do sell DDG then United are expected to move for Lloris, who is definitely good enough. Would Spurs sell with no time to find a replacement, though?
