Ironic thing is their assistant left in the summer for "home sick reasons " and joined us and they went and signing Phil Neville for god knows what reasons

The sentence has bad grammar all over it, but corrida does mean "cum" in slang.
A correct translation that catches the bad grammar would be something like:
"Cum of the morning on the beach to start the day".

Correr means run, so he declinated the verb badly.
Also, corrida de toros means bullfighting.
