Not bothered about anyone tbh, All of them are easily beatable.
Need to focus on getting a striker this summer, CM and CB can wait for next summer maybe.

Westham have done some good transfers, but still need Payet to gel to be a real threat.
Southampton have lost 3 very important players n have EL. Be interesting if they hang around.
Swansea have done well, but Stoke have lost hteir 2 best players but are rumoured to be in for some decent signings.
We'll see

I like how Ifti is focusing on Spurs, Yanited, Arsenal, Everton, Chelsea, City and Yanited and you are focusing on Swansea, Stoke, Southampton and West Ham

I dunno...Soton still have a pretty solid team, and strong young players coming up. I think they will be high mid table, fighting with West Ham and Spurs.

Re: Rival Thread: 2015-16
Southampton's situation is so funny. Lost players worth of something like £80m last summer and were tipped to be relegation candidates. Had a superb season. Now they've lost another two or three key players. And it was their fantastic defense that enabled their great season and they've lost once again a full-back, a center-back and now their solid CM/DM. If they finish comfily in mid-table again, you have to say they're probably the best-run club in England right now. But that's a big if.

Re: Rival Thread: 2015-16
Yes, but they've been linked with some good replacements also. Clasie to replace Schneiderlin, though not of the same mold is actually a very good player, tenacious in midfield and good at recycling the ball as well as passing forward.
Not sure who they have to replace Clyne, but Targett is reportedly a very good young player. They'll surely get a few more replacement players in but essentially their core will be in tact minus Schneiderlin (who is being replaced by Clasie, which will be just fine).
Should be comfortably mid table with Fonte organizing the defence and Forster playing well. The system will still be strong. Plus they get Rodriguez back and Reed should get more games.

Dropping from 7th to 18th is a long way. Don't think loss of 2-3 (key) players can do that. Specially when you have enough fund to get decent replacements. I think they (Southampton) will finish mid-table.

Re: Rival Thread: 2015-16
Im quite sure these guys will add to that, They have the financial muscle to maneuver moves late in the window.
That said, Im quite relaxed, I dont think any of these teams is unbeatable. We have to do our thing by taking a point in these away games.

It's actually good that United are winning these garbage performance matches 1-0. Let them have false sense of security and trust in Rooney until the window closes. They will get bitten hard in the ass. Both of their matches were unbearable to watch, such shit football.

Re: Rival Thread: 2015-16
It's interesting that United could arguably have used both Pedro and Otamendi, but let those players go to the two other super-rich English clubs. And might sign Mane instead.
Anyway, I thought our situation looked pretty good compared to Chelsea and City a while ago, but now both of them are switching to the top gear (Otamendi, Pedro, possibly a couple other big signings in the pipeline) and they might be pulling away from us, sadly.

Re: Rival Thread: 2015-16
I dunno...Otamendi is great but City already had us beat at pretty much every position and I don't think Pedro makes a difference for Chelsea TBH. He's going from Barca to Chelsea which are worlds apart in terms of system and coaching I don't think he'll have a big impact this year, if ever.
I think that City is easily above every other PL club right now though if they're healthy. Liverpool can compete with United, Arsenal and Chelsea though (Chelsea close to being in its own tier though right behind City).

Basically MU missing out on Otamendi, Pedro makes them the only viable competitor who can be replaced in top-four.

Re: Rival Thread: 2015-16
Arsenal, United and Liverpool will all be fighting for 3rd, 4th and 5th IMO. Form and injuries will dictate the order. Can't have players going into lulls this season like Coutinho and Mignolet did in the first half of last year.

Re: Rival Thread: 2015-16
So; Chelsea is still struggling, Arsenal is swinging between sublime (MU) and shit (WHU), ManU has started to sputter, City doesn't look so invincible anymore while we are getting a new manager which is presumably kick-start our season. Good time to make a bee-line for that T4 spot.
