Re: 2015/16 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.IV
Portugese newspaper Record has reported that Roma’s sporting director Walter Sabatini is extremely interested in Porto full-back Alex Sandro. It’s no secret that Roma are searching for a left-back and they have now reportedly targeted the 24 year old Brazilian. Sandro’s contract expires with Porto in June 2016 and contract extension talks have stalled, which has led to Roma making an offer of €17 million for the player, which has been rejected. Porto would like a higher fee for the left-back but they realize that the longer contract talks stall, the less leverage they have. The newspaper reports further that Porto have initiated contact with Marseille for Benjamin Mendy as a possible replacement should they decide to sell Alex Sandro, who they do not want to lose for free next summer.
Roma are keeping an eye on Alex Sandro’s contract situation and could make another approach for the Brazilian.
-----------------------------
Italian transfer website Calciomercato.com has reported that Roma are edging closer to acquiring Augsburg left-back Baba Rahman. The website claims that the Ghanaian has already given the Giallorossi a “yes” for a possible transfer and that Augsburg have lowered their demands from €20 million to €15 million. Reportedly, Walter Sabatini has even agreed to a deal with the German club for the transfer of the player: Roma would pay €4 million up front and pay an initial €11 million next year.
It remains to be seen if this report is true, but if it is, it would be a major coup for Roma.

How can you buy a player and then try to sell him without his knowledge or approval 6 months later (1 day later if we are precise about when they actually BOUGHT him lmao).
To some random shit club no less.
Mancini is a weird manager for some things , but I don't exclude there are also some reasons (professional)
Anyway he wants to replace Shaqiri with 2 players ( Perisic, Cuadrado, Jovetic, Salah ) , it might also not being a bad idea on paper

A player who comes from 2nd Bundesliga team to Ausburg only last summer window should be playing ahead of other players at Bayern very well said then ! He is 20 or 21 year old now so hold on a little there !

Not sure Busquets-Pogba-Rakitic is a perfect midfield... They won't be able to hold on to the ball for shit without Iniesta....free_cat wrote:Gil wrote:Neymar Suarez Messi

In a year's time that will be Barca's front 6. How can anyone compete with that?
Corrected for you, Rakitic is already with us and is better than Gundongan or Verrati.

Cole is understandable for me. Rudi simply ostracized him due to the Bayern loss, which was a mistake. He didn't get a proper chance in this squad so I think it's fair for him to ask for that chance. You'd think he slept with Francesca Brienza or something.
If he can get himself fit and motivated again, I would not at all mind keeping Maicon for at least another season and I think that's probably something he'd agree to as well.
My one issue with Gervinho isn't even really with Gervinho himself...it's with Rudi's obsession with playing him every single game without rest or rotation. If he was played with some common sense, he's an effective weapon, but I think the biggest reason why Gervinho no longer works is because he's simply not crafty enough to keep Serie A defenses guessing. That's why I think he needs to go and I think he will go eventually....just not to Al-Jazira apparently.

Hopefully, will be a great move for the lad. Wonder who's gonna grab Bernardo Silva, because this gem is going somewhere inevitably as well

Marcos Lopez is certainly a known journalist, one of the sharpest mind of spanish football in terms of analysis, he has a very nice blog on Marca and has been there for a while now.
Now as far as being a source for transfers? i have no clue what so ever, it's the first time i see him talking about other teams dealings.
That being said he was the first i saw giving details about the offer Ramos is getting from United and everyone has been repeating the same since then, including Sid Lowe... so i suspect he knows his stuff, and doesnt just talk nonsense for the sake of it; well informed person
@Mole, he is saying tough times for Valencia because they lost Imbula to porto and if his sources are right, they wont get William as well.

So, what is it for Sevilla? Gameiro as starter or they'll try to sign a striker?
I think that Gameiro can do the same as Bacca tbh.

Re: 2015/16 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk.IV
Gameiro is more than good enough to replace Bacca, and I suspect he'll become the first choice now. I'm not sure who they'll bring in for second choice. There's been links to Teo (Colombian striker) and Guidetti today, but they also signed Ivi (a young forward from Getafe) and have a couple of decent young prospects coming from the B team.
The Konoplyanka move could be back on as well.

I personally think all three need to leave, though maybe a bit harsh on Cole. Maicon seems to be done, he should return to Brazil. Im sure he would have a lot of fun there.
15 MILLIONS on wages. Wow.. could get a proper player for that money.
