Ok let's see. Chelsea seem set.
We could do with a C/DM or a striker, subject to someone becoming available. As things stand, there are no names credibly. We are at peace with not making any more signings.
Utd could do with a CB and maybe a DDG/Valdes replacement - about 50m let's say.
City is a wild card - they could go any which way and splash.
If you include Liverpool and Southampton in this mix, then yes, 100m is very much a possible spend.

Liverpool on the other hand have Ings, Sturridge, Lambert, Origi, Balotelli, Borini & potentially Benteke as forwards ffs. All of those players have been bought in just over 2 years as well. That's just the strikers there's so much more other dross in their squad.
Terrible squad building by Rodgers. When you compare it to the job LVG has done it makes him look even worse.
Reported.
Rodgers is a victim.
Sterling is the culprit.

Re: Barclays Premier League 15-16 Discussion-v1
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher will wear a Manchester United shirt after losing a bet with Gary Neville.
The duo had a wager regarding the amount of goals Tottenham midfielder Paulinho would score for the club, with Neville confident he would score fewer than 15 in a season.
Carragher took the bet but Paulinho managed just six goals in the Premier League during his two seasons – and 10 in total before moving to Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande.
Carragher now has to endure any Liverpool fan's worse nightmare on August 10 when West Bromwich Albion host Manchester City – a game live on the new season's first Monday Night Football.
Neville tweeted: "Just been confirmed @Carra23 has received my United shirt. He will wear it on the (10th) August."
The bet was in aid of Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust and the shirt will be auctioned off for the charity afterwards.

It's for charity, which is a noble cause worth losing a bet

I agree but it's the way he's done it which is *bleep*.
If he left straight away without doing any of that i'm staying, loyal and it's my club crap and then leaving a week later no one would be saying anything.

Re: Barclays Premier League 15-16 Discussion-v1
A week ago he said this after turning City down.....
A week later he's signing with City and trying to justify his *bleep* BS, if he just signed with City then that's fair enough.... but no he said he rejected them because ( according to him) he's loyal and it's his club and he can't wait for the new season.
A week later he's basically decided to *bleep* all that and it really makes look like an utter asshole.

Meh . Athletes like anyone else can change their mind ( DeAndré jordan). It doens't make you a *bleep . Delph only mistake was the timing lol . Ih he had said that months earlier there would be less drama. Let's not forget that after his declaration, Benteke was sold and going to City is a step forward ( if you play ) . Money, CL , etc...

DeAndre Jordan didn't publicly say he's a loyal person and loves the Clippers/Mavs though lol. He just had a change of heart, this is a lot worse IMO. Delph rejected City and said he's proud to captain Villa, loyal and loves the club and then a week later said nah *bleep* that i'm going LOL kthxbai.
The two situations are not comparable.

I think it's a lot more than that.
It seems that the wages he will receive did not change from the first supposed move so I assume that something in the way Aston Villa are moving in the transfer window has something to do with it imo.

Re: Barclays Premier League 15-16 Discussion-v1
Tbh i don't buy it's about Benteke considering it's only been a week, Benteke would have known about Liverpool longer than that and the club captain who Delph is would know about it as well.

Re: Barclays Premier League 15-16 Discussion-v1
Not just the Benteke thing, because I agree that Benteke would have know if he was leaving or not before this past week.
It's more about what Villa are looking to do in general in the window. Have they even done anything? Surely Delph would be informed if they were looking for a semi-decent replacement or to invest in other areas of the squad.

My point exactly. Let's say he reject city the first time , then he saw Benteke being sold . He thought about it again as Aston villa is always in the relegation battle. Euro is coming , he has the opportunity to play for City ... hard to no.
He talked too early , that's all.
