Re: Barclays Premier League 15-16 Discussion-v1
What CL club could Begovic have played for exactly?
He made the correct move. Play for a shithole like Stoke or join one of the most prestigious clubs in football playing alongside some of the best players in the World? More wages, West London & guaranteed trophies. Easy choice.
He'll get games in both domestic cups & will play the odd big game when Thibo goes down.

What's with the Newcastle hype on here exactly? Who have they signed that's a gamechanger? Leroy Fer's twin?
They'll be battling for relegation again next season.

What hype? they are just asking questions lol. No one has said anything about us doing anything lol.
Can't discuss anything without being excused of hype apparently

You don't see people praising McClaren like he hasn't been a complete failure at every job he's been in post Boro?

Regardless he's still the best coach we have since Robson lol and the backroom staff we have had since then too.
Not exactly hard mind you following Alan " coach the strikers one day a week " Pardew, Steve " You are at your weakest when you have the ball " Stone and John *bleep* Carver.

Ranieri has taken over Leicester.
Losing at home to Faroe Islands has certainly paid dividends

His career is definitely a mixed bag tbf, but quite frankly after the shit i have dealt with over the last 12 years it's not gonna take a lot for me to be impressed.

McClaren is actually a modern coach, which I think is the most important thing after Newcastle was managed by dinosaurs for the past five years. His Derby team choked when it mattered but they at least played attractive football based around technical players.

That someone with Ranieri's CV goes to Leicester is pretty amazing to begin with. But is he the right man for relegation dog fight? We'll see.

That 4th place trophy hasnt been easier in a while.
Liverpool and Tottenham need to do alot more to finish higher next season.

The De Gea replacement was already signed in January, in case you haven't noticed

Like when United were supposed to challenge for the title when they signed Blind, Herrera, Rojo, Di Maria, Falcao?
No denying PL is getting more competitive but i'd personally wait for the start of the season before making predictions.

Florentino Pérez: “De Gea is a magnificent goalkeeper but he belongs to Manchester United”
plus Valdes isn't on Tour...be a bit weird if we are expecting him to be our No.1 this season

Not really. Liverpool just need a striker that will score more than 7 goals.

They have signed other players as well tbf.
Still think they would do well to sign a good CB. And a DM if Can is playing as a B2B

El Cujo wrote:Funny how RA actually had to make things up just because his ignorance is exposed. He can't be older than 15. Could you provide examples of what you're saying? Or please continue about how Higuain is a flop since he went to Madrid as a wonderkid and has never accomplished anything.
Also obviously GLS Wijnaldum would be likely to have career years for a while yet regardless of position since he's still young and approaching his prime. Anyway enjoy him.
Stop putting words in my mouth.
Why are you acting like some sort of superstar?
You're literally everything that's wrong with this forum.
All you do is read shit on online / off whoscored / off whatever other site instead of watching a player live and a have a full analysis on a player and act as if you know everything about him. I wouldn't be surprised if you know where all these guys live, how many children they have, what they do out of football you're that obsessed. And you've stated you've only been supporting Liverpool for like 2-3 years so not sure why you think you know everything.
AND THEN ON TOP OF THAT YOU BRING OUT MORE WHOSCORED STATS in the Liverpool section........... at the end of the day Benteke and Higgy are in the same bracket; they're like Giroud. Decent striker uptop, if you want that something more he ain't going to deliver. Laughable that you compare him to to the likes of Benzema, Lewand, Ibra, Suarez etc.
Why not dream? If this kind of signing was made I'm confident Liverpool would end in the top 4, if not challenge for the title.
About as delusional as the idiot in charge. You and Brendan go hand in hand together.
Good luck to you both. Put me on ignore for the rest of the season and send me that "apology" letter you said you'd write come end of the season when we inevitably challenge Spurs for 5th.
