As for Romagnoli, I applaud this move by Sabatini and co. We received an enormous offer for a player who clearly saw himself elsewhere and with the upcoming sale of YMB we will likely be well into the green regarding our transfer expenditures.

Gerson looks like a very impressive young player. Extremely similar characteristics to Pogba from what I've seen, maybe a little smaller, not as strong but more mobile than Pogba. I think he could develop well...

I get the feeling that lad will probably not end up playing for us and even if he does, it won't be for long.

Not gonna get too attached to him at this point. The debacle with the #10 shirt at his unveiling was rather amusing though.

Don't have an opinion of him as I have never seen him play. I will try to take in a Fluminense game or 2 to get a read on him.

Our defense is a mess. I mean the starting line up is adequate but our depth is really worrying. Gyomber and Rudiger, who is currently injured, are unknown talents and when is Digne going to arrive. Sead Kolašinac of Schalke is being rumored and looks like a nice buy. Would also complete the trio of Bosnians at the club.
