Bet they're part of a patronage package given to easy-mode players, to reward them for a job well done Laughing

I technically finished the game on the hardest mode, so it's probably because of that hmm

Then they probably rewarded you for the precise execution and timing of pausing the game and switching it up to hard mode, right before being lead into a series of cut-scenes before the end credits.

I've never played Dark Souls, but I'm pretty sure you can't change the difficulty setting in PvP mode in any game hmm

Got the platinum trophy for it.

Best game I've played in years. 10/10

Think i might jump back into this.

As of today, you can download patch 1.30 which includes additional fixes to progression issues which some of you may have encountered. However, it also includes the highly anticipated New Game+ option.

With New Game+ you will be able to relive the adventures of Aloy without losing your character progression and your collected inventory. You won’t be able to progress beyond the level cap of 50, but you can still collect XP during your adventure.

We have also added updated versions of existing weapons and outfits with an extra modification slot at your disposal. These will not come cheap and will set you back some extra shards.

Before embarking on a new quest you can manually adjust the difficulty level to your liking. For players who seek an extra challenge, we are also introducing an ‘Ultra Hard’ difficulty. This new setting will enhance machine senses and behavior and will limit player health regen and other additional smaller tweaks. Players who decide to embark on the Ultra Hard path will not have the option to switch it to a less difficult setting.

New Game+ also comes with two new Trophies and extra unlockable content that gives players the ability to add facepaint or change Aloy’s Focus.

Not sure i'm man enough for Ultra Hard though Laughing

Been playing this for a while. Great game, took a while to get a hang of the combat. Graphics is top notch on 4K and I have been surprised at how good and engaging the story has been so far.

Story shocked me tbh, I was expecting the combat to carry me through the game but I was genuinely interested in the story.

Unless you absolutely have to don't buy weapons etc until you unlock the purple variant as they are the best and the others are a waste.

Realise the melee weapon is a last resort and you should mainly use the bow and arrow.

Scan enemies, it will reveal strengths and weaknesses.

There's a mission type called Cauldron, do them you'll realise why when it happens.

That's about all I can think of, the rest the game explains pretty well.

Collect resources. Like everything.

Also don't worry about skills and upgrades for a while. Just play and it will come to you naturally.

Wouldn't surprise me, the average gamer doesn't finish games lol.

Yeah, just checked only 35% have completed the game.

Reviews are out for the DLC.

Jists seem to be it's 15 hours long, has more side quests, weapons, machines, new area and supposedly it's a lot harder than the base game.

I hated the sidequests lol, focused mainly on the main story

Have a hard time believing its 15 hrs, way too much for a DLC

Why? Most single player DLC are around 10-15 hours, seems pretty standard to me.

The only DLC that i lasted 15 or more hours for me was TW3, but i consider that an anomaly as you won't get another game like TW3

Lost Legacy took me about 10 hours

Bioshock, Mass Effect, etc didn't have DLC's that long, wrapped them up in like 5-7 hours, even the recent Dishonored 2 DLC (death of the outsider) finished it in 9:50.

As i understand it the Souls DLC's are around 15 hours, Uncharted was between 10 and 15 depending how fast you are and considering Horizon is open world i don't find it far fetched you'd spend an extra few hours just strolling around.

I can't think of many other big DLCs from single player games to compare other than Witcher, so yeah i don't think it's that far fetched tbh.
