Not to say that Barca won't drop points ever again, but Madrid really need to win this if they want to get the edge in the title race again.

Modric and Ramos back in time with both getting some game time pre-hand as well.

i'm still finding it hard to believe we dropped so many points and pretty much handed them the lead. this game is more than just the lead, its about mind-frame. a poor result, and the tendency might be to focus on ucl and neglect the league (a foolish idea imo, considering there are still a bunch of games left and ucl sometimes can go down to luck). what area of the field do you guys feel will be our strengths or weaknesses?

I just hope that Marcelo-Isco with some help from Ramos and Modric can handle Messi. The guy hasn't performed like this in 2 years and it's scary, while Ronaldo dropped some form compared to 2 months ago. Hopefully he recovers from this on sunday, we really need him. Isco and Modric will be ok, I have no doubts. Bale better destroy Alba, it's his chance to tell the critics to stfu. Kroos is the one that scares me. his form in the recent months is worrying, it might be fatigue. I just hope he handles the pressure, because the game will be intense.

regardless of his stubbornness on some decisions, carlo always had something for big match, i have my faith in him for this.

The performance of our fullbacks will be the decisive factor IMO. They must give 120% on both ends, because in attack Barca is most strong on the wings while in defense they are very weak. Bale, Isco and Ronaldo also have their part since they mostly damage through the wings. As I said above, if Bale flops today, I'm afraid his Madrid journey is over. I'm not sure if it's indicated to play a high line today for Barca this season is deadly on the counter. 2 banks of 4 with Ronaldo and Benz upfront is the way to go.
