And this has been movie time with drunk Red, brought to you by Jameson & Glenfiddich and starring The Asylum's "Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!"
Thanks for joining (that's sarcasm, you ingrates) and enjoy the rest of your night. Don't forget to tip your waiter and vote #AprilDies on twatter (or else).

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
That was magisterial, Red
Want to get my 3-cents in on the James Bond stuff. Spectre looks dope as have all of Sam Mendes' Bond movies so far. I think he said this is his last one unfortunately though.
Goldeneye undoubtedly was not only Brosnan's best movie, it was among the best of all Bond films. I honestly didn't mind World is Not Enough, but Tomorrow Never Dies and Die Another Day were awful. Also, kudos to M99 for calling out Live and Let Die. That's my personal favorite of all the Bond movies. Loved everything about it.

Spy, 22 Jumpstreet, Neighbors, Chef, Let's Be Cops that's the only ones (mainstream comedies) out of like 20 I saw these past few years I liked, that I can recall at the top of my head. Unless you'd call Nightcrawler a comedy Pretty funny atleast
Thanks for your answer (I've seen 22 Jumpstreet and Let's Be Cops); I'll check your shortlist and probably going to add what's worthy to my watchlist.
Eventually, I watched Ride Along yesterday. Kevin Hart is "my new fav" comedy actor. I've also seen The Wedding Ringer a few days before and I was like dying every 5 minutes.
Can someone give a short review of the Get Hard movie? I don't really like Will Ferrell and I have my doubts.

I think Kevin Hard is basically shit in everything. Think it's exactly the same as every single other film he does. It takes like a week to film and he doesn't act in them. He's just not that funny either.

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
I don't know what to say mate, the only movies I've seen with him are those two I mentioned above and I enjoyed them very much.
As far as we talk about Kevin, "technically" speaking, there is place for improvements. Anyway, with all due respect, tastes are not discussed.
I'm not even a big fan of comedies (not that I don't like to laugh or that I lack sense of humour, but it's just I can't really see art in those kind of movies, especially when we speak about modern movies), the circumstances made me choose to watch this genre every time. Sometimes, they did put me in a good mood and helped me to relax.

No art in comedies? That's really because you don't have a large palette of taste. Everyone of Edgar Wright's movie are artistic. WoWS is a comedy that's very artistic. Yes, WoWS is a comedy.
People have a tendency to talk down to comedies and only call somewhat medieocre movies as comedies, and when a comedy is amazing and great like WoWS, it's no longer a comedy.

Very judgmental post. Do not make redundant references to a certain category of people if it's not needed. We both know that your second paragraph was generated at conceptual level by my post, even if unconsciously.
Superficiality is my fault. I should've been more specific and talk a little bit about exceptions and the fact that I have a penchant for something else (which isn't even fairly to debate).
The movies field is too complex and the discussion that we now bear can't end mensurable without kilometric debates. My patience doesn't betray the shallowness and still go hand in hand.

Actually can't wait for Southpaw to come out on Bluray.
Seems like a simple plot, but the movie itself looks really good.

Pls RG.
Also no one is watching this for the plot, it's obvious what's going to happen for 3 reasons.
1) it's a sports movie.
2) It's based on Eminems life (replace rap with boxing).
3) It was shown in the trailer.
Pretty sure you'll like this movie if you love sports movie. Can't wait to watch McAdams and Gyllenhaal and let them make me feel something. Nothing hits harder than sports movies, emotionally.

I didn't know it was based on Eminem's life. But it (trailer) makes sense now.

It is. Eminem was also supposed to be the lead, they had to settle with Jake though

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
8 Mile was one of my favorite movies growing up lol. Could rap the entire soundtrack at age 8.
Also sorry but Southpaw looks extremely ordinary to me. Generic movie with good acting is what I'm expecting.

I was really hyped for Southpaw initially, but my film freak buddy says it's decent, nothing great. I trust his opinion as we've got similar tastes.
how was Ant Man, RG?
