okay he's more like 25million, but my point is, 42million was a complete kneejerk buy. i expect him to have a world class final ball like cesc, he's final balls are average or just above average which is not good enough for the money spent.

Most disappointing thing is that we did it to ourselves.
Monaco didn't even break a sweat for that delightful result. Just came and sit well and organised and we fell apart in every aspect.

its not a knee jerk, i have always had this opinion, tell me a team that has better DM's? i dont see many quality dm's around at all, in terms of pure dm's they have the best izzy. maybe matic? thats all i can think of atm.

Monaco defend well but lets not forget we didnt waste about 5 chances in total, chances u should never miss playing against ptb team. Sure our defense was leaking like blackhole but our forward should really do better to not coming out of the game with a moutain to climb returning leg.

thats the thing monoco were average, they were even average defensively, we cut them open plenty of times but i just dont know, our finishing and decision making today was soo off its incredible.

am i missing something here? hmm

if i said monoco have the best midfield, id understand this reaction, but i am saying they have the best DEFENSIVE midfield selection. which is not that hard to believe because not many of the top teams are even playing dm's. think you and izzy are misinterpreting me.

wasnt tactics today, our players made incredibly stupid mistakes defensively, what tactics can save you when merte has a brain fart moment like that? when ox loses the ball in such a key position? thats just poor play. whatever tactics you will get destroyed if you do that.

I wouldn't call Kondogbia, Moutinho and Toulalan World Class.

Also, the best teams in Europe don't play with 2 DMs.

We don't agree on the term World Class if you're already anointing Kondogbia as WC.

I knew that A.S. Monaco would be chintzy defensively and if Berbatov played then he would be a factor, but to witness them score three goals at The Emirates? I never saw this result coming. Arsene Wenger must be scrutinized for this defeat.
