Didn't see the match but terrible result. I heard that the ref screwed us, but no ref should be an obstacle to beat Burnley at home FFS.

And I agree with huntsman, he's not panicing, our form has been terrible in 2015. Aside from the Swansea game, we always struggled and relied on Cech/Courtois to bail us out and Ivanovic to score. Our quest to the treble is in danger and if things don't improve we might end with only 1 or 2 trophy.

i don't really see a reason why FA would punish him. It was a very bad tackle that went unnoticed by a d-bag ref. But the tackle didn't seem like it was a deliberate attempt at hurting a player, so it's understandable that he won't be punished. On the other hand, matic deliberately went out of his way to push the player down.

If he got punished, Matic could have gotten off. Now I think it'll be unlikely for us to win the appeal against Matic's card.

i doubt matic's appeal will be overturned either, his reaction was simply not the right thing to do unfortunately.
