Real Madrid vs Sevilla
Another game before the big bang this Saturday. We need to win our game in hand to afford a loss against one of the tricky opponents later on. Modric and Pepe are still out and Ronaldo will serve his last game of suspension
Usual line up against a Sevilla team that is in a very bad form right now. Cant wait for Isco to run rings around Deulofefulol like he did with Coutinho and Benzema getting his first hattrick. Would be nice to get a clean sheet too for a change

Re: Real Madrid vs Sevilla
Dont mean to sound weired but, i have a feeling bale will boss this game, i mean we cant honestly believe that bale doesnt go on the internet or read tabloids even hear from friends infact, telling him how bad he has really been this season, so he should have really learnt from his mistakes by now considering that madrid are at the business end of the season now. like how bad can he really get? Moreso, i think the example players like big benz, marcelo and isco has set will eventually motivate him to do way better, i mean, he doesnt really need to be in a constant battle with himself and other footballers all the time as everyone cant be thesame. He should just concentrate on making the right decisions first and fans would accept him for who he really is, more over, i doubt he would want to be left out of the party when the season draws to a close.
Wishing bale all the best..

Re: Real Madrid vs Sevilla
I think Bale is feeling the pressure of his transfer fee and being called the "heir" of Ronaldo. The only problem is that he simply isn't as good as Ronaldo and will never be. Lets not act like he was any less selfish last season. He was still the same only then we didn't get punished for it like we are this season so people dont remember it.
I think he can change though but the fact that his strength is scoring, he cant make up for his selflessness with other qualities like for example Isco was able to do after being accussed of the same things last season. Being striker is the only way forward to him but alas there is no place from start for him there either
Anyhow, the rest of the team is fine.........until Ramos has another brainfart of course

Re: Real Madrid vs Sevilla
Bale is no scrub like everyone is making him out to be. He is a great and WC player when on form. People shouldn't expect him to be as good as Ronaldo because no one bar one player is as good if not better. Since Ronaldo's injury last season he's been selfish and he should realize his limits. He can be a deadly player but he should keep it simple just like he did until April last year

Re: Real Madrid vs Sevilla
@hala. U have a valid point. Why doesnt carlo just play cf role and rid him of every other duty? What do u think? Cause it begining to seem that he doesnt have brains enough to multi-task. Dont think he has so much use when modric gets back. But then again, if he is to play cf, who does he replace? And if he doesnt play cf, wouldnt madrid be affected by his seeming baggage? I sincerely think this is a puzzle madrid has to solve soonest. Or should he go the di maria rout and play midfield?

Re: Real Madrid vs Sevilla
Bale wasn't as selfish last season. Do you remember our third goal against bayern? There's no way this-season Bale would've done the same - passing the ball to Ronaldo even though he has an open shot.
Bale last season was a little selfish; but he put his selfishness aside and played for the team when it mattered most.
Nobody is calling him Ronaldo's heir; the two are thousands of light years apart. He's good but he's nothing compared to Ronaldo.
And to answer your question, whether or not is he going to change his attitude? I highly doubt it. Carlo must've talked to him at least twice about his selfishness. If the manager and the critics can't get him to cooperate and switch back to his relatively decent self, our messages certainly won't either.

Re: Real Madrid vs Sevilla
in this 2 ronaldo absent games, it's the best opportunity for bale to bury any kind of talk, good/bad argument, pressure, ronaldo heir?, expectation, assumption, and whatever shit it's, for the good of his own and club.
hope he dont screw up again.

Re: Real Madrid vs Sevilla
Bales technique is average but he has more then enough in his locker to turn it around, I've said this many times. His shooting and athleticism is world class. His crossing and long passing is also very good. He's just low on confidence right now.. he was playing so good in the first few months he was here, and I mean everything was good.
Look, I have been bagging on bale, but he has the ability to turn this around. So I think you guys should stop thinking theres no way he can hes not that bad. Let's give him a few more games till we can say he really is shit.
Besides, although missing two chances, hes actually playing better and better overall. Lets hope that progresses

Don't feel overly confident in this game, I do hope Bale steps up. Reckon 2-1 to us with Sevilla scoring first.
Sevilla forms been indifferent. Last 5 games, 3 wins, 2 loses. They won at home, lost away. Hope this continues & we get to see Silva in action.

Re: Real Madrid vs Sevilla
Think this will be pretty straight forward imo. We have never had problem with Sevilla at home unlike Valencia and now more recently Atleti
@Bankz, I think the reason Carlo plays him on the right is because we play with inverted wingers letting our offensive fullbacks push up to create the width. Also another reason is that is the only way he can fit BBC in one line up, personally I am not a fan of it because I think that James is a great RW and is wasting his talent on the left, I dont think that we have to pay on the long run per say because our play has generally mainly been from the left for a very ling time, we dont usually use the right side as evidenced by how little Atleti paid attention tp it last time played
His strength is svoring and naturally you think CF right but Carlo's hands are tied due to his hype before we boight him and his transfer fee

Re: Real Madrid vs Sevilla
Excellent first half. The best we have played since October/November. Bale keeping it simple, everybody being unselfish and tracking back. More of the same please
Not exaggerating or anything but apart from goals anyone else thinks Nacho is more reliable than Ramos??
Arbeloa the only one underperforming please gtfo. Play Nacho ahead of him please

Re: Real Madrid vs Sevilla
Arbeloa is horrible. Not much more to say, has been like that since '10.
Bale looking much better than normal. First game in a long time he's playing well.
Nacho - Varane could be our best partnership with more gametime.

Re: Real Madrid vs Sevilla
Yeah... nobody is playing for their stats which is great. So you don't need to rate anyone individually, just the team. And the team is playing great. We were a bit disjointed with all the subs due to injuries, but we got it together.
Sevilla should have scored though They should also have gotten a red card... good job by Benz to take out their keeper; the backup looks shat

Re: Real Madrid vs Sevilla
Injury City out there tonight. Hope no one's out for long.
Good first half, slowed down a little in the second.
Bale kept it simple, but I did want to see a little more from him, not a single shot on target.
Despite the goal & Sevilla hitting the post I never felt like we were going to lose. Total dominance.
Bring on Atleti!

Re: Real Madrid vs Sevilla
Great second half. Bale reverting back to his selfish self the pos and Arbeloa continuing to be crap
Someone post the gif of the one touch football between Benz, Isco, Jese and Marcelo ffs if only that'd gone in
Don't know what formation we played but it looked like a 451.
Marcelo will miss the next game, Coentrao, Ramos and Pepe injured
Benzema should have been subbed off at the end he looked exhausted and we need to keep him in this form ffs. He is absolutely excellent these days

Re: Real Madrid vs Sevilla
Khedira and Arbeloa were both poor... other than that, everyone was good. Some guys are obviously getting tired though.
James, Ramos, Pepe, Coentrao, Marcelo and Modric missing for Atleti game. Means that Arbeloa will need to play LB and Nacho CB.
Illara MUST start over Khedira... now i remember why i disliked Khedira so much

LE: Carlo said that the board will appeal against Marcelo's yellow. That means no Crapbeloa
On the other hand, James might have a bone fracture.

Re: Real Madrid vs Sevilla
when has arbeloa not been poor? i keep saying this guy used politics to get into the good graces of fans and media members who just wanted to hear about rumors, and hated iker, yet nobody called him a mole for all the times he spoke crap to the media ....khedira, is not interested in being here anymore, i've always thought him to be a good defensive midfielder, and i still do, but i think he's interested in a move away

Re: Real Madrid vs Sevilla
I thought Khedira played very good yesterday personally. He was very involved and defended well
Glad we are appealing but when have we ever had a yellow rescinded, if we couldn't rescind the Isco yellow we probably wont with this one either, not holding my breath. The Spanish reffs are awful, the Varane yellow was bs because the ball actually hit his leg/thigh and lol at the marcelo yellow

Re: Real Madrid vs Sevilla
Arbeloa turns up decent as LB his crosses are even better on that side too lol. Still prefer Marcelo. And Coentrao injured more than he sleeps what use does he have if he is not available when we need him??
I know this is a stretch but anyone think we will start Jese on the left with James injured and Isco as CM next to Kroos kid looks fully recovered and played excellent this Wednesday, combining well with Isco and Marcelo. Also last time we played them he embarrassed their sorry backsides, I hope Carlo trusts him enough to start him but doubt it

i don't think so. Ronaldo is back. You'll see BBC against Atleti. Isco will play CM.
