Re: So, what next for Balotelli?
Well he can try the job of being benzema back up, its a rather nice position. Well paid, trophies, lots of time off, great city. There are the occasional monkey chants in spanish stadia but the food is pretty good

Not like he dedicated his life to training and playing it smh

btw also Hans, key word is "seems".
To me, he seems like he doesn't care, maybe he does, maybe he doesn't. But the indifference feeling stems from this.

I guess that he struggled more with injuries. His goal record with Milan was quite high. He would do well in serie A I guess.

Re: So, what next for Balotelli?
what he needed was a stern no nonsense manager early on in his career, but instead he went to City with his buddy Mancini, and was allowed to get away with everything.
needed a SAF in his early life to keep him in line.

And to think that people wanted us to sign him because if anyone could set him right, it was Wenger.. I never believed that tbh..

Read Sepp's comment, that's basically where the indifference stems from. Balotelli just doesn't seem to care about football, so we don't really care about him.
It seems that your crush says otherwise.

Sell Gerrard for 10-15m a couple years ago, Balotelli as a CM, Enrique as a CM couple years ago, Art always with the crazy ideas.

To be honest, he'd be better off / more suited at Arsenal.
And Welbeck would be better off at Liverpool. (Though Liverpool-United would never had sat down to make a deal together.)
Funny how that works.

Re: So, what next for Balotelli?
he can't be wasting too much time not playing. he either:
a) moves to a team where he'd play more as a strictly attacking focal point
b) BR finds a way to suit Balo's strengths, without weakening the team that has been improving lately
I think a) is more likely tbh

Re: So, what next for Balotelli?
Doesn't Suarez only have one more goal to his name than Balo after playing even more games for Barca.
Balo is not an elite striker, and I frankly don't think he will ever start being one. However, if Rodgers is not going to use the player he bought well, he shouldn't expect him to bang in goals left and right.

Re: So, what next for Balotelli?
I would not give up on Balotelli yet. I mean, he's still very talented and he showed signs of promise here and there with Liverpool. Even in the United game where he came on he had many chances to score and if not for DDG he would have bagged a few of them for sure. I think right now, more than anything, he's been quite unlucky to start his Liverpool career because even the slightest difference could see him on 6 or 7 goals IMO. He's also been working a lot harder than people thought he would be. The main issue with him is that before the switch in formation we needed our lone striker to be making runs off the ball and getting deep into the box while Balotelli prefers to drop deeper and have more link-up play. He would be ideal playing with another striker or as one of the 2 behind the striker in our current system.
We'll see how things go. I don't think he's done yet though at Anfield.

Biggest waste of talent. The guy (he is no kid, he is a man ffs!) has 0 work ethic. If this guy had CRs work ethic, he would be one of the best on the planet. Talent x 0 hard work = 0. Such a shame.

Re: So, what next for Balotelli?
Yea, he has given his best playing next to a CF like Ibra and Milito at Inter, Aguero at City, even at Milan he played his best when in the second-half of the 12/13 season Allegri played him behind Pazzini when in need for a goal.
Let's see what he does next to Danny. I mean, he's not worth to force Rodgers to revert to a two striker formation and I don't think he's better than Sterling and Coutinho behind the striker, but with the killer schedule Liverpool is having he'll get his chances.

He was garbage yet again. BR justified in leaving him out.
All 3 of him/Borini/Lambert should leave. that was the difference between us and Chelsea

Compare Sterling to Balotelli's performance. Tell me who was "better" without any favoritism please.
Lambert should never have joined us.
Borini should be in Lambert's role (as a back-up). Or should never have been signed at all if he wasn't going to be given a chance.
Balotelli should never have been signed if we want to play with 1 striker up top.
Oh, and all that comes down to your manager being deluded and not knowing what he wants in the market.

Henderson was never arguing it was Sturridge that came in and initiated the argument.
Sturridge is a selfish baby though. Didn't even celebrate the goal like a little *****.

This guy is a big game player.
5 contributions ( 4 goals and 1 assist ) and all of them have been match winning.

Re: So, what next for Balotelli?
agreed, he has the biggest balls of special Balotelli Material (specially treated under high temperature for a long time) in the team !
I hope Rodgers finds a midway between his system and Balo. It looks like the guy is already working so hard compared anywhere else before he has played.

Katy Perry wrote:Let's have a look at his Liverpool career so far:
-He has 2 goals in 18 appearances, 0 in 12 PL games.
-Rodgers has said that he doesn't fit Liverpool's high tempo and high pressing playing style.
-Doesn't play even when his competition is out of position Sterling, Lambert and Borini, let alone when Sturridge comes back.
-The Liverpool fans have already replaced the "Mario fantastico Mario magnifico" chant with "Fabio fantastico Fabio magnifico".
-The most notable things he's done with the red jersey has been getting banned for posting a racist and antisemitic image and missing sitters left and right.
So, does he have a future with Liverpool? Where should he go now? Who is willing to take him?
Mario Balloteli is not what he has. I think this is because he is not serious and not hard working. I think best for him would be to get serious and start training hard, by doinig this I'm sure he would start again to play good!

Re: So, what next for Balotelli?
So I think we've actually found a role for him in this team. He's our game changer off the bench. He's had 3 subs appearances in the last 3 wins and all fruitful (scoring 2 winners and providing one winning assist).
