Liverpool's next few fixtures:
Augsburg (A)
Augsburg (H)
City (H)
City (H)
Palace (A)
Chelsea (H)
Soton (A)
Spurs (H)
I can see 5-6 bumps in the near future

Re: Klopp sack watch - Liverpool Edition
the lge has gone for us but getting Sturridge coutinho and firmino all fit and playing well is good for the cup games and for next season. I told red alert and anyone that would listen to me that Liverpool have better players than results show. anyone with half a brain will know that a front 3 of Sturridge coutinho and firmino are good enough for the prem lge.Firenze wrote:no bump because aston villa are guaranteed to be going down and are fodder for everyone 9 out of 10 times

Re: Klopp sack watch - Liverpool Edition
Sturridge last start in the PL came against Aston Villa at Anfield, no? When we beat them 3-2 and he scored 2 goals like in August / under Rodgers?
That's nice.
The squad is still average though.

No he played 120 minutes in the cup final on Sunday.
That guy can barely play 90 minutes per week so Klopp rested him.

Re: Klopp sack watch - Liverpool Edition
We looked better without Sturridge anyway -- I think he's looked kinda off since returning tbh, a few flashes here and there but I'm not convinced he's over his issues.
Klopp is great. Wonderful personality, the team is playing well, and hopefully makes some good buys this summer. Too bad we couldn't win the trophy but I will be ecstatic with this season even if all we manage to accomplish is knocking United out of the Europa.
I'll also throw him under the bus if he ever plays Moreno again.

Re: Klopp sack watch - Liverpool Edition
Well, it really seems that Liverpool is finnally improving, mostly thanks to injured players coming back I guess (Origi, Coutinho, Sturridge). It makes a difference obviously. Though Klopp is not really a coach that keeps his players healthy, so that can be a problem.
I see sturridge was subbed yesterday. Again injured or is he fine?

Re: Klopp sack watch - Liverpool Edition
It was a tactical change. We needed more midfield control so Pirlo came on for him. He's fine.

I thought Allen was a waste of a footballer who needed to leave Liverpool ASAP? Now he's Pirlo?

McAgger loved Madrid, now he loathes them. He loved Brendan, now he is a spineless coward. History tells us on GL that McAgger changes his opinion on varying things with two options: love and loathe, no in-between. Just adjust and move on.

Re: Klopp sack watch - Liverpool Edition
Ah I was just poking fun. It's nice to see him in a good mood -- along with most of the Liverpool section. It's nice to see some positivity like when Rodgers was taking us to the title challenge again.
The team is playing really nice football right now, and I imagine with a bit of more time to tweak, train and adjust Klopp will have us challenging for trophies and titles moving forward. Good on him!

Re: Klopp sack watch - Liverpool Edition
Allen deserves credit, he's been unlucky with injuries lately but he's been really good in 2016. I'm big enough to recognize and give credit where its due.

Re: Klopp sack watch - Liverpool Edition
Arguably deserves to start next to Can, at the moment. He's been better in the midfield 2 than Henderson, recently.
