Alan Pardew sack watch thread

Newcastle finally seeing the light?
Away to Southampton and then Hull at home. Will those matches be enough to finally put Pardew away?

They've lost one game in the cup, one against the PL champions and drawn another. Not even a top team would sack their manager for that imo.

So Newcastle - Hull could be decisive for Pardew sack
lol if Pardew got sacked for a goal scored by Ben Arfa

They didn't even lose in the cup. They won away and progressed.
Would be an awful decision which I doubt is true because Mashley sanctioned Pardew's order of shipping off Mbiwa and Ben Arfa....so that means Pardew definitely have more than 2 games.

If their transfers are anything to go by, whoever they bring in to replace Pardew will somehow end up being worse

Yeah because this seasons results so far are the reason everyone wants him out
Anyway I can't see this being true, as Sepi said if he was that close to be sacked the club wouldn't have sanctioned his wish for Mbiwa and Ben Arfa to be shipped out.

Re: Alan Pardew sack watch thread
I dunno mole. You never know. There could be more pressure now. The Ben arfa deal did happen, but that could have been just the beginning of a lot of internal arguments at the club
I think there is weight to this. I think if you lose the next too he might be gone

Might not play as loan deals generally have clauses inserted into them regarding not playing against the parent club.Robespierre wrote:So Newcastle - Hull could be decisive for Pardew sack

If Shane Long gets mole sacked, will he finally accept his infinite greatness?

Who are Pardew's potential replacements? Moyes immediately comes to mind. Would be good tbh

Moal would take Moyes in a heartbeat over Pardiola.

Damn right I would, I'd take Pulis and Bruce in a heartbeat too.
They are all miles better than this moron.

Is Steve Clark still available?
He'd be a solid option.

Re: Alan Pardew sack watch thread
It would be weird to first keep the guy in the job for pre-season and transfer window and then sack him just five games into the season, so I think he's got more time than that.

Moyes wouldn't be an awful choice tbh, his work at Everton shows that he can be successful with a small side that doesn't need to take the initiative in a game

Re: Alan Pardew sack watch thread
^ never. Newcastle as a club deserve someone better than that clown. He may bring stability but that will come only at the cost of progress. He will simply stymie it. The guy is so negative in everything he does. See Evertonains doing good things under Martinez. They were simply deprived of that for all these years by this man.
IMO they should take the gamble and look abroad and bring someone lesser known someone young who has got fire inside. Pluck a Pochettino or a Martinez from somewhere and that will do them a world of good.

Agreed.
I just want to believe in someone again and to enjoy football again. It's been a long *bleep* time.
But failing that I'd take anyone over *bleep* Pardew, I don't trust the board though we have had two progressive managers in 20 years and the rest have been a pile of shit.

Newcastle finished 10th last season, which isn't too bad considering the other 9 teams had superior squads.
